A hard reset on N73 mobile phone: press *, 3 and the call button. Keep these buttons pressed and switch the phone on. Wait till you see the message 'formatting...' and then stop pressing the buttons.

This is a chore which I have to perform twice a year - quite unnecessarily in my opinion. We could have British Standard Time which would be the same all the year round, as we did in the early seventies. But Scottish farmers objected - why I can't think since their cows can't tell the time!
To take this photo with my iPhone I set it on Gorillacam to use the timer, then I balanced the 'phone on the edge of the upper oven door with a bit of blu-tac to hold it and leant it against my forehead - then I could use both my hands to show how I have to reset the clock on the cooker.
(Only after taking the photo did I notice how grimy the knurled knob is - better clean it :)
