Due to the request of a member from the A-10 West Demo Team I supplied the team with a super hi-res version of 3 photos. I did a re-edit of the originals posted here, since I thought they turned out fairly well I decided to repost two of these at 1920x1280 for all those who asked to use it as desktop wallpaper.
The positive comments, messages, and e-mails over the last week in regards to this photos has been incredibly humbling. It's awesome being able to share the two things I love with all the world. Thank you for all the compliments!

Chris, my wonderful MIL gave me that print. She found it in an antique store in Tampa, Florida, many years ago. The frame looks like it's from the turn of the century, (19th, not 20th.) ;-) This wall is just a hodge-podge of inexpensive prints, for the most part. Just stuff I picked up here and there, or was given to me.
Tommy sleeps on the other side of that wall, in an adjoining bedroom because we BOTH snore! Haha! So no, he doesn't have to look at all my girly "stuff".

These abandoned warehouses in Briton Ferry, known locally as Wern Works, have been vacant since 2011. The seven-acre site has been home to many businesses since it was first used by High Duty Alloys in the 1950s.
These photographs, taken in June 2016, showcase the building as it stands today.
Inspiration for the framing of the shots came from the 1975 New Topographics exhibition.

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Capital ! Now might I suggest that you keep that frog in your throat from escaping, and stay mute for a bit…There, that’s the girl….
Obviously, you Milady, received our missive, and was just curious enough to come alone see what it was all on about.
But first, please allow me to force upon you apologies for intruding like this upon you day of Matrimony… but now that you are securely wed, these matters needed to be discussed with the upmost urgency…
Ahhh…I saw you glancing away towards the door, but don’t worry about holding up your wedding party Milady… interesting use of a rather rude appellation that, hold-up I mean….., for you see, your entourage is currently being, let us say, “ entertained” by my fellow friends in a manner that your absence from them will not be dwelt upon for the time being….
Ah, did I just see a shiver along your pretty physique? But as a thief yourself, you should not be aghast by my words…

That you are a dirt poor lass by heritage… having only been posing as a one of wealthy elite to snag your disgustingly wealthy Intendeds affections, and that all of the jewels you have been flaunting in his and the Lord’s family’s face actually were “shall we say…borrowed” from the rather obscenely rich, family less spinsterish old lady, whose bed-ridden condition you became nurse too , after of course, you were able to convince her to discharge the au pair she was at the current time employing!
Hush, I see you want to argue the point, but that photograph you are holding,, one of several I might add, tells you that the proof is in the pudding against any defense you might try to stage!
My dear just accept the fact you have been found out, and listen quietly without further attempts at interruption and I promise it will be less painful to you all around….
Actually I am doing you a favor my pretty miss… We have already made it appear that your charges safe has been burgled while she slept , and have taken the liberty to remove the rest of her jewels you had secreted away in your chambre , really, under a mattress? Which means that all blame will fall squarely upon my lot for their sad loss.

He stopped in his tracks, turned around quizzically, cocking his head in a questioning manner, but said nothing.
“Tallie” she said again without reason , lips now trembling, her whole demeanor shaking.
“The name of the au pair girl was Tallie”
But Lady C.’s words drifted off and died away as he smartly turned heel and walked off , but not before hunching his grey eyes up at her in a rather dismissive fashion at the wretched newly titled lass…..

He left her standing there, dazed and confused…
Slipping down a set of stairs leading to a cellar he made his way through a maze of various objects before he reached a small wooden door. Opening it, he found himself in a seldom used back alleyway.
He stole away down the cobblestone path of the darkened alley, making his way by foot back to his gang’s hideout. Said gang, he figured, should be just now finishing up with trimming a bit of the fat from the wealthy guests.
Cause and effect he marveled wryly as he allowed various thoughts to roll about in his head while he strolled calmly away, making his escape…
Amazing the chain of events that had been set off by the simple discharging of a, seemingly insignificant, au pair girl!

“An Odyssey Less Taken “@
This is the left side of my hair in my drinking straw curlers, for someone on Flickr who wanted to see how I get my long hair wound around three inch segments of drinking straws. I'm tilted sideways here (that's my neck in the upper left and shoulder in the lower left). I've got bobby pins, snap clips or pinch clips at each end of every little hair-wrapped straw segment. Those things that caught the flash are rhinestones that I glued to some of my bobby pins --- because I like my hair accessories to be colorful and/or sparkly, and if I can't find what I want then I'll make it myself.
For those who haven't seen it, the result of these air-dried drinking straw curls in my naturally curly hair is this and it stays that way until I wash it. I don't use gel or hairspray or anything like that. Conditioner is what I use.
Marianne wanted to see, so here it is.
Probably unsurprisingly, given my love of regular-dresses, I also love swimdresses. I know some fats have negative associations with them, but I think they're swell. I have two Avenue swimdresses I've rotated between for the past year or so, and have been happy with them, but when I saw this anchor-print swimdress on the Just My Size website I could not restrain myself. Anchors! How kitschy. Also, it's navy, which I love. I ordered right away, only to be suspended in backorder-limbo for several weeks. In the end, this worked out okay, since our weather has been dreadfully beach-unfriendly for the past month anyway.
But today, TODAY! Turned out to be a gorgeous beach day. So I got to put on my new suit and enjoy the sunshine for a few hours.
Also, hey, it's me without makeup. My invisible eyebrows betray my natural-blonde-ness.

At the request of the developer of Chester City Centre Cheshire County Council leased 4 Optare Solos from Mistral in 2007 for operation on a City Centre shuttle under contract to First. Also at the request of the developer these were painted Black by Optare.
Due the the recession the redevelopment didn't, and still hasn't happened and the service never started.
The four Solos MX57CCZ, MX57CDE, MX57CDF and MX57CDK were all stored at the City Council depot in Bumpers Lane until local miscreants started to show an interest, they were then moved to the County Council depot at Milton Green where they are seen on 30 May 2008 after approximately 8 months storage
I got a request by flickr mail for a white blouse, black skit, off bulk hose and black pumps, here it is. CK black pencil, button down blouse on sale at Steinmarts, Hanes off black thigh high hose and J Rene black patent sling back pumps. I thought I would look like a waitress but now I think more a hostess.

Trains will only stop at Clunderwen's rural railway station on request. People still forget that sometimes and expect the driver to stop the train for them... some drivers do, some don't. I know!!
