I took the "windows" concept and altered a picture frame using the technique.
Word to the wise: Don't do this and then hang it up a few hours later. The paint UNDER the photo is not dry yet... it ended up all over my calendar. Lucky thing it was the last of the month and i was able to turn the page.
She asked if she was still cute enough for me to want to take a picture of her. I laughed and said of course!

This chalice was thrown in two parts from porcelain, then carved and pierced. The carving was done with the idea of smoke from incense.
The glaze is Scrying Bowl Black with Buttercream on top, then they were rubbed to make them mingle a bit before firing. I really like the way it highlights the carving subtly.
