Daniel's younger sister approached us once she realised that we were taking images in the cemetery of graves, many of which are probably unknown to us. Once she realised our photos would be made public, she asked us if we would please take a photo of her brother's grave.
Cheers “Little Sister”, Daniel is definitely always in your heart.

De opbrengst van 3FM Serious Request 2010 gaat naar de stille slachtoffers van aids. Op de markt van Eindhoven nemen Giel, Coen en Gerard plaats in het Glazen Huis.
Deejays van de lokale omroep Sternet houden op dit moment een actie met een eigen glazen huis in Haaksbergen. Net als met het glazen huis van de actie Serious Request van 3FM dat dit jaar op de Oude Markt in Enschede staat, zamelen de radiomakers in Haaksbergen geld in met een marathonuitzending.

The earliest known reference to Christianity in Inkberrow is a charter of 693 which dedicated land in Inkberrow to found a minster. In addition, the Domesday Book records a church in Inkberrow. No traces of the Saxon church or the minster remain. St Peter's Church dates from the 12th/13th century, and was not built on the site of the Saxon church.
The present building, in Perpendicular style, was built mainly in the 14th/15th centuries and was rebuilt in 1784 and again in 1887.
We visited after seeing a feature on BBC TV about the St Peter's Church Poppy Cascade Project, where around 200 local volunteers knitted and crocheted well over 6,000 poppies for the Remembrance Sunday cascade from the church tower.

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Quite possibly the first spelling error painted on this old railway footing since 1928. Guess there were not any cops nearby when this tagger painted his or her thought of the day on the steel girder.
