In de week voor Kerstmis haalt NPO 3FM samen met heel Nederland geld op om ouders en kinderen te herenigen tijdens 3FM Serious Request. Monday night my friends The Requested invited me to go with them on there trip to Corpus Christi, TX since they had a show with Gwen Stacy, Vanna, Oceana, and Armor For The Broken.
This was my first time hitting the road with these guys and it was a lot of fun hopefully I can go on there 2 week tour in the west coast this summer :)

My doctor requested labs for me and I went in to get them started today. I gave blood & urine and will be bringing urine samples back for the next three days. After the lab I went for a PhotoDrive/Walk in Palm Springs. I took this photo along the way.

Elke 30 seconden sterft er een kind aan malaria. Daar moet wat aan gedaan worden. Op de Grote Markt in Groningen draaien Giel Beelen, Gerard Ekdom en Annemieke Schollaardt van 18 t/m 24 december 2009 een week lang plaatjes om geld op te halen voor het Rode Kruis. Dit doen de DJ's in het kader van 3FM Serious Request 2009.

...and here is the requested B&W version. I used a preset called "Heavy Metal B&W" for LR4. Is it too much? I liked how it still showed a hint of the trees in the front. The other ones in the purchased set didn't do that.

We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Children had access to a face painter and a balloon artist at the dance at the park event on July 28, 2021.
all those that have sent me requests...it's going to take me a day or two to gather pictures and i'll just post them all at once. someone asked for a crew member which made me think...if you have any crew members that you love, let me know their names and i'll do my best to find a qualified picture. i might have to ask for a favorite picture of yours to help me out.
