I spent 24 years in telecommunications and have never seen a tower this overbuilt. I’m thinking (based on the design) it may be the remains of a water tower. Seeing microwave horns struck on a a fluted concrete tower just oddly fascinated me.

Serial number 32904 first flew on March 18, 2003. It began its career as SE-DZV with Britannia Airways AB on March 31, 2003.

Serial number 7779 began its career as N696BR with Atlantic Coast Airlines on May 29, 2003. It had a corporate interior installed in early 2016.

Our dog Sarah is buried in here and it is a place for our compost as well as a charnel ground for dead animals we find on our property. Oh.. and an herb garden. Everything grows well in here.

A re-purposed caboose in the Aberdeen, Carolina and Western Yard in Star, NC. Trucks removed and up on cribbing definitely not going anywhere,

At a Denham garden centre, in Buckinghamshire.

I am reorganizing my ten inch doll stuff. I took an old beat up doll trunk and sloppily decoupaged some scrapbook paper and a print of my favorite pattern for these dolls and mod podged it on the trunk. It's cute enough but doesn't hold all of their clothes, hats and shoes but its good enough for display.

Oh, if those shoes could talk...

 

Ladies, excuse my naiveté but, one wears this particular footwear out when one is seeking a fun time, attention of the opposite sex and an accent to an already existing figure, highlighting the more lengthy parts... usually (but not always!) with alcohol and the devil's music involved, so unless this is the chosen accessory for doing the vacuuming around the house, or planting begonias out in the garden, there is probably a tale or two involved here, I would guess.

 

(Of note: I am going to tag this photo with "high heels"... hmmm... I wonder if it will attract more Flickr views... hmmm...)

Our Daily Challenge ~ Misused or Repurposed

 

This glass pot had a previous life as a candle holder. Now the candle has been used it makes a perfect container for pens and pencils etc.

Most people have mobile phones now so the use of the traditional telephone box has plummeted but there are a few that have been re-evaluated like this one in Nottingham.

A work of art in progress! The old mills are coming back to life. This mill is huge (photo doesn't show it). It is called Riverwalk Lofts--they offer studio, 1-2-3 bedrooms. The photos under amenities on their website Riverwalk Lofts are fabulous. Lawrence, MA
