finished! I love it, even on my old cookie sheet. I need that one though, so I'll try to get my hands on another one.

This perpetual calendar is created with 50 collage magnets made from retro images from books and old cookbooks. The magnets have a baking/retro theme which inspired me to display it on one of my old cookie sheets! You can use it on your fridge, your own old cookie sheet, or any other magnetic space just calling out for a super cool perpetual calendar!

Each magnet is created by gluing 4 paper circles together measuring 1.5" in diameter that have been cut from old cookbooks and other books, then a 1" magnet is attached to the back.

Purse made from repurposed materials: old knitted sweater that was felted, scrap yarn and notions from other projects. Leather handle, magnetic closure, and fully lined.

Modcloth Inspired Plant Candy

I may be a self confessed plant killer with impressive consistency but I still welcome green friends into my home on a regular basis. I’m always trying to find or repurpose containers to house them…

Victorian Style Re-imagined

What does that mean? I’ll let you know when I find out.

I think it fascinating that modern buildings (13 years old in this case) are really just a shell and you can change the usage and layout almost as easily as you can build a lego house.

Clever decoration at Anthropologie, carving Reader's Digest books into alphabet letters

The curtains didn't come with tie-backs, so we used a bit of plastic tubing and a foam letter square, minus the letter.

We repurposed a beautiful dual pedestal carved base table by replacing the top with vintage galvanized steel. The base is painted with asatin "Churchill Hotel Vanilla"

One friend said this might be off a manure spreader. It's from some farm machinery in Iowa. I think there was a sign in the store, I should have paid more attention.
