Create a basic composition, manipulate it with a few easy to use digital tools, replicate and share it with the world. Fun for all ages and levels of experience.
The image I tried to replicate was similar to Steven Shore. He took pictures that captures images of scenery the way that they were. He did not try to add angles or emotional filters. Shore took photo that appeared casual but had intention. This is my everyday life- Taking solo trips enjoying our beautiful word and journaling.
Although this picot looks empty, it tells my story. This photograph has the sun beaming through the clouds, no additional lighting or editing needed.I was walking along the beach and I felt the sun beaming on me and when I looked up the glare form the sun was stunning! I did not need to use any type of flash. I intentionally took this photo with all my footsteps in the sand. It was a very peaceful morning, the waves were little to none and I did not hear the sound sound of the waves, it was very calm and quiet. I attempted to use this photo like a memory to go with the writing i put in my journal. It can appear like just a photo of the beach but it was really a long walk to find peace and clarity in my thoughts. Shore also took photos of his adventures and kept them like a diary. Ended up being a great Idea! The little intentional mentions in my pic makes this ordinary photo interesting.
(Sort of). Well, after three weeks, I built, tweaked and tuned my Mendelmax for this moment. I printed a full set of printable parts, in essence I let the printer "print itself". Now honestly there are more parts that can't be printed than can, but as you can see it is still a lot of parts. Thanks to my MendelMax's "Parents" Scanner's Makerbot Replicator and Albert's Makerbot Thing-o-matic.

The rubber feet kept falling off my Replicator, and I only found three during a recent move. So, I printed out better ones that actually stay attached to the Replicator!

Shallow depth replication of #4, this is my favorite shot of all of the replications. I tried both of my lenses and had to squeeze my body into a corner to get the right amount of space to capture her cute feet. (Feet that are HUGE now...time goes so fast!)
