I replicated the pictures, rotated it, applied images on top, used photo filter to add color, used the channel mixer, decreased the contrast, and then used the liquefying filter.

I feel that This image is portfolio worthy because I feel that it blends well together and does not appear as nine different images. I find it interesting how the manipulation to the image created it to no longer appear as trees rather a laced net. I like the movement of the lines and overall image. The focused and detailed section of the picture in the upper right hand of the image I find acts as focal point. This focal point contrasts with the rest of the warped image. I find that I was able to fit the images together and create a whole new image out of it.

Replicate Motion Photo - Blurred Motion.

Due to shooting indoors, and the light meter being off, I had to guess and mess around with the exposure. I chose a shutter speed of 1/10 to get the right blur for the truck, and the lowest aperture I could use was f/4.5.

Tried my best to replicate the moving semi-truck, with a toy truck in front of a large photo book in order to show that the background wasn't moving.

Well, not EXACTLY like DCN_Photo's original shot as his is much more dramatic, detailed and sharp than mine and not at the same angle. I was trying to get George Washington's head right side up and I'm embarrassed to admit how many shots it took me to get this one, but I kind of liked how the reflection of George was right side up. Yup, that's my story...and I'm sticking to it! :-)

This header was created using fd's Flickr Toys.

eta - I really like this header and appreciate the fun that FD's Flickr Toys is letting me have. I want to try and replicate a similar header to use on my blog. This was just an experiement to see how the 'toy' worked and is not intended to be used on my Etsy shop.
