Big Lemon Coaches Volvo B9R Caetano Levante FJ11 GKF seen in Portsmouth this morning operating on rail replacement to Barnham. It’s the time of the year where everything becomes dirty quickly and this was despite washing this motor before leaving the depot.
Working on my replacement torso for the CAM body. It's still too long even though I've cut it down twice. I'm not sure why I can't get the proportions right.... I think it's because I want to make sure it's suitably different from the real CAM torso, but you can only do so much before it doesn't look right with the limbs.
The funny thing is that the boobs are quite large... and I was going "Wow, these are too big." Then I tested it with the head and the head is so big that the boobs looked reasonable.
When you think back, this city was completely obliterated as Leningrad and now renamed St Petersburg it's architecture has once more be rebuilt.

First allocated a batch of 2004 B7RLE/Wright Eclipes to the X39 Bath to Bristol service. Due for replacement in 2009, they were then retained with 66728 WX54XCN showing the revised livery that was adopted.
By 2013, new fleet had been ordered and a batch of 11 Wright Streetlite Maxes were due so this (slightly less than sharp) shot on 13th July 2013 was a late example. 66728 has spent time in Bristol and Bath subsequently but still retained Barbie colours into 2020. This was taken at Newbridge on the edge of Bath.
Hybrid Gemini III 4823 waits time at Sankey-for-Penketh Station, working an all-stop replacement service between Warrington Central and Lime Street.
Buses replaced trains between Liverpool and Warrington over the Christmas period, to allow for resignaling work, with control now transferred to Manchester ROC. Network Rail also took the opportunity to install the bridge and lift shafts at the soon-to-open Warrington West Station.
During this period, Arriva NW managed to provide a service which their colleagues at Northern could only dream of!
The weekend of the 19th/20th November saw a closure of the London Underground District Line between Embankment and Dagenham East, with buses in use to cover the areas of closure.
Unusually, this seemed to include the use of single decked buses, and some rather unusual ones at that.

Well, the long anticipated "Woking Weekender" finally arrived and delivered a magnificent array of vehicles operating rail replacement services out to Weybridge, Guildford, Aldershot and Basingstoke throughout both days. No less than 34 different operators provided in excess of 70 buses, coaches and minibuses across both days including three 75-plates. And Burrows Coaches had "both" their East Lancs Darts out - EDIT - STOP PRESS! On Saturday it was LK55ADX and on Sunday it was J8UFX - first with the news!!
Now then, Woking is not the photographer's friend at this time of year due to high-rise office blocks surrounding the station area. Saturday started wet, eased off but remained rather gloomy all day, and Sunday was almost a write-off with clear blue skies and low sun. The one sunny spot we found came with a time limit as a ruddy great big lamppost shadow edged its way into shot therefore limiting use of that corner. All in all though, it proved to be a belter!! Maybe have it in the Spring next time please Network Rail?
Rail replacement buses in Lewes on the 7th December, 2013, due to flooding at Newhaven. Travelmasters Volvo B10M-62 Van Hool Alizee T9 BIG 2116 had been called in from Sheerness whilst Southern Transit Leyland Olympian L1 is a far more familiar vehicle in the area. The Volvo had been new to Armchair as W16 APT.

This past September we had the roof on our 30 year old home replaced. I learned quite a bit about roofing and found out about all kinds of cool gadgets roofers use. One tool, which looks like a robot to me, is a compressor. He was very noisy.
The other gadget was a 32" magnet on wheels that picked up nails. One day I tried the rolling magnet and was delighted to find this cool pattern of nails on the magnet when I leaned it up on the debris trailer. Who knew roofing could be such fun?
CSX AC44CW no.s 3144 and 3133 are seen descending the grade into Ridgefield Park, NJ, passing a pair of prefabricated track panels lying near the Mt Vernon Street grade crossing. The panels were built in preparation for replacement of the grade crossing, which would be shut down in the coming days, per construction signage nearby.

The old remnants of the Pratt Truss bridge supports only a few trees while, in the distance, a more modern bridge crosses the river from Virginia into Maryland. Meanwhile, the bridge that is no more would have been crossing from West Virginia into more of West Virginia. This is located at Harpers Ferry, which is the very northern tip of WV, and why the bridge crossings are so different. The river close to the ruins is the Shenandoah but it ends just ahead and becomes the Potomac. Day Two of the shower replacement process - April 19, 2011. Contractors have removed the old shower, poured fresh concrete in the base and redone the plumbing, and are now installing the new unit. For some reason, this one was out-of-focus, but it's the only shot I've got of the entire new shower unit in place at this stage of the process.

NICOLAS FRANTZ, riding for the powerful Alcyon team, took the lead on the first day and held it to the end.
Frantz's frame broke in stage 19. A bike dealer gave him a replacement bike that was too small, but despite his losing 38 minutes because of the incident, Frantz's lead was so large he retained an overpowering grip on the race.
