Not a great pair of shots, but I was interested in pairing the repeating objects. I do like the morning light in the top frame, though.

mr. puff wanted us to get repeating patterns so here is one in a pariking lot...

Which one?

That one.

Umm, which?

The one up high, by the orange things.

I still don't see it.

THAT one, over there, the shades are partially up! Are you blind?!

LOL, I could see that conversation happening between Eric and I.

In my last post, I mentioned in passing that I was off work with the flu. Since that post, I have spent nine nights in hospital because of having Influenza A. This illness has hit me hard and sapped a lot of energy that I once had. I am home now but still coming off medications and working on...

I took this image while walking along the street (Intentional Camera Movement) . I thought it would e fun to try out different things for the brief I was given 'Time. I used an app on my android phone called 'Camera FV-5'. This app let me take images with a different ISO and Shutter Speed. This image was set at ISO - Auto and Shutter Speed - Long - 10 seconds.

The trees in the foreground might be a bit much and take away from the repeating pattern but i still liked the uniformity of the flags blowing in the wind.

Sample: laser cut industrial felt...

the pattern needs to be altered to line up a bit more

This was another photo taken of the Cal Neva parking garage. There are a lot of repeating elements and I felt like I got a little lost in all of them while looking at this picture so I really enjoyed that. The shutter speed is at 1/25, F 10, 35mm lens length, and an ISO of 400 because I was in the shade.

My first trip to Las Vegas was over the holidays in December 2004. I took several fun tours including one of Red Rock Canyon. Unfortunately, that was the one day when it didn't just rain, it POURED. It put a damper on the tour just a little bit.

This trip to Vegas, I wanted to do something special for my birthday so I decided to repeat the Red Rock Canyon tour. I'm so glad I did! We had perfect weather and I got the full experience this time. And much better pictures.

Here's a link to my original set from December 28th, 2004:

This photo shows trees in between me and a set set giving them a deep shadow look. I find this photo relaxing to look at and the lines keep my eye moving around the photo.
