These are techniques that create a repeatable pattern and tightly weave the HF armor. The 1st is used on my Redfoot Dragon. It can be used for any size armor, but works best for size 5-6. The 2nd and 3rd are the same techniques, 2nd using size 5 and 3rd using size 6. They seem like a stronger and more flexible pattern than the 1st. The 3rd stresses the lightsaber bar a bit.

See how the tip of the boat on the lower right matches up with the boat on the lower left?

I have a new exhibition 'Repeat & Reflect' at the Zeigler Gallery. I'd be delighted if you went and took a look.

“Catch Feet In-Step”

Our Tulip Magnolia tree is covered with new bloom and looks like it is about to bloom again!

With all the rain we've have these past few weeks, we can only guess our plants are extra happy, and at least one of our trees is showing its gratitude. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures of the blooms this weekend before the rain knocks them down like it did last time.

From our GRIPS walkabout last night in downtown Waterloo...a great time out with all! This one is cropped for composition, converted for B/W and a few lights cloned to simplify the image...

Fall Break 2014: "Turtles & Lava"

October 21: A return to Phoenix's Desert Botanical Garden.

It takes me a long time to sort through a day's worth of photos and discard the lesser so for this day, a new paradigm: don't sort, post a bunch and see if that takes less time.

Comments welcomed - too many pix?

cannot repeat this often enough as the curve is turning up...

"Four people have died of COVID-19 in B.C. since Friday, and 294 new cases of the virus have been confirmed.

There is now a record-high 1,107 active infections of the novel coronavirus in the province out of 5,790 to date, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced Monday.

The number of COVID-19 patients in hospital has risen to 28, including 10 in intensive care. There is one new outbreak in a long-term care home in the Fraser Health region.

Since the province entered Phase 3 of its recovery plan, active cases have spiked beyond what was seen in the spring.

So far, Henry has been resolute in her approach, despite the increases. Earlier this month she said contact tracing was working to keep the spread of the virus in B.C. in check."

Strange title...not necessarily. Step 1 - At the top (highs). Step 2 - Tethered to family and friends (lifeline). Step 3 - Downward spiral (lows). Step 4 - Hit bottom...get up...dust self off. Step 5 - Climb back up to the top (ladder). Step 6 - "Repeat Process" several times throughout life.

During the winter Months, I go over my files and try to discard the photos that I won't be using, since I do a lot of bracketing, sometimes I repeat a subject a lot, and that just takes a lot of space. Other times I just chose the ones I like best, but from time to time when I go back, I find something that I like, this is the case, I hope you'd like it too...

We are having a rough winter here in Pa, but being busy always helps. Photography, music, and the arts do it for me.

I invite you to come and see this beautiful collection of photos, and listen to the wonderful voice of this wonderful Canadian singer. Do you know who? ;)

And the world is cold

I will feel a glow just thinking of you

And the way you look tonight..."

I enjoy nature photography the most, since I love the outdoors and long hiking trips. Macro photography is a true passion for me, since I get to watch a miniature world that opens without limits, before the camera makes the funny sound.

Graphic design is another way to express myself. I love reinventing a photo that I have seen in different ways. Sometimes, I use my own textures to do so.
