Bringing together twenty-five students from seven nations, the Inter-European Air Forces Academy (IEAFA) and subject matter experts from USAFE Safety successfully concluded the Inter-European Aviation Safety Program Management course recently in Tallinn, Estonia . The course validated a proof of concept for the United States Air Force's first-ever Virtual Reality Crash Lab, increasing allied/partner interoperability in conducting aircraft mishap investigations. In a first for IEAFA, the course was delivered in a hybrid format, instructing both remote and in-residence students.

Students participated in multiple classroom and “breakout” team sessions all with the aim of developing their individual skills, performing national missions, and developing interoperability with Allies and Partners. IEAFA’s Aviation Safety Program Management course contributes to focused development of a common safety culture and cadre of NATO and Partnership for Peace aviation safety professionals.

36 officers, warrant officers, and NCOs from 14 nations embarked on the Inter-European Air Forces Academy’s (IEAFA’s) first-ever remotely delivered Professional Military Education course.

After group discussions, problem-solving team challenges, exceptional guest speakers, personal and professional growth, and unforgettable shared experiences, the students’ words say it all: "We came from different groups of people with different backgrounds, different countries, different levels of education, different hopes and wishes and worked together to achieve a common goal.” “We leave with light in our hearts and a smile on our face!”

Congratulations, Class 21-A! Welcome to the over 1,000 military members from 42 allied/partner nations who are part of the Inter European Air Forces Academy alumni family!

We Want to Go Back! But #OnlyWhenItsSafe!

Teachers protested at a socially distant standout to call on Governor Baker to take action in support of safe and healthy public schools and colleges. Supporters urged Governor Baker to:

1. Establish a uniform requirement for all districts to start the year with a comprehensive distance learning plan. Provide immediate support for access to the internet where it is lacking.

2. Set clear health and safety standards that must be met for the gradual return of in-person learning, including:

•Indoor air quality and ventilation in school buildings that meet appropriate regulatory and industry standards.

•Rapid COVID-19 testing that is accessible, routine, and free to students and staff.

•Community and public health benchmarks are established, met, and reported transparently.

Totally engaged. #happymama. I am so so so happy. If Max can’t be in person at school this has become a workable alternative. He spends the first hour of every school day one on one and every one is super impressed with how well he is engaged. He gets very overwhelmed when he’s on with his whole class and just sits there but when he is one on one he’s totally working and learning. We have duplicate resources at home and with his EA #skillsandabilities #remotelearning #coffeehour
