Who needs broadband when you can stand here and wait for a call. On the road to Ockle with the islands of Eigg and Rhum just off the coast.

When the Italians invaded Albania during WWII, the military built a road between Krrabë and Bradashesh, which essentially makes it a narrow scenic route between Tiranë and Elbasan. There's very few people in this region and we saw two cars the entire trip. The scenery is stunning and the silence deafening. In the valleys below this road, you can see very small remote villages. In the horizon is the Agean Sea.
I have been learning a ton about post-processing in the last few months, and wanted to see what I could do with this image. I think it is greatly improved. This was an amazing trip with my brother-in-law, Jared Warren, to the Doll House, a very remote and little visited corner of Canyonlands National Park. Let me know what you think!
As soon as Dad moves Mum - I will grab the remote for you! Then maybe we won't have to watch football any more.

Remote research station LL928 stationed in the Centarus region supports deep space scientific research. The station is staffed by a compliment of 14 spacemen and includes barracks, science lab, and a communication and control bridge.
-
Unfortunately the Outpost only sleeps 5 men so the Spacemen work in 3 shifts and "hot bunk". Often 2-4 team members are on local away expeditions making life a little easier for those staying at the station base.
-
The staff is comprised of:
-
1 station commanding officer, CO
1 chief engineering officer, XO
1 chief science and operations officer, COO
1 medical officer
1 system engineer
1 mechanical engineer
1 security officer
7 science officers (various specialties)

Stopped by the remote controlled airfield for short time for the first time in quite a while. A friend of mine was flying a few of the 31 planes he owns. Only got photos of 2 of them while there, the first two red ones and the last six photos here. Fun watching how skillful these pilots are doing aerial maneuvers, takeoffs and landings. I always send any photos I take for them to post on their club site. Sorry for so many photos, just saving to my album. :-)
This is a crop and edit from a series of photos taken with Christy Avery's camera with tripod and remote shutter. We had a good time goofing and posing around this magnificent spiral stairs at our hotel. From left to right, Nora, Christy (yes, she has an extra h in her name), Jamie and I. It is not just about taking photos but also about enjoying the experience and being creative both for the setting and the image composition.

In many ways our two week trip to Senja was planned around capturing this image alone. There is no easy way to this point. Although it may be possible to hike here in a day, we instead used our packrafts to cover most of the distance to the base of the mountain. The ascent was tough - unpathed, wet and exceptionally steep, but the sunset made it all worthwhile! shared with pixbuf.com
Fully remote controlled by PF
2L motors for move
1L motor for tower rotation
1M motor for guns up and down
1 big battery box
2 IR-receivers
Not for the idiot box, for those fun badass battery-eating cars from my childhood. This build was on the simple side, fun and nostalgic, but I'd forgotten why I hate building with black...old camera is old.
Built for my Iron Builder competition with Bruce Lowell using the dark red fez piece.

Remote control hover tanks would pretty much be the most fun toy ever!
This started off as mainly a challenge to use some of the parts from some of the basketball sets. I then tried to see what other odd parts I could use in new ways.
This Basketball piece makes the base on which the entire thing is built around.
