I remember back when the 25th celebration was going on and they had the preview for Animal Kingdom in here. The model they showing what Animal Kingdom would look like was massive.
Remembering Our Fallen is a photographic war memorial that honors our country’s military Fallen from The War on Terror. Because 9/11 was such a defining moment, this memorial includes our country’s Fallen since that tragic day in our nation’s history.
Unlike brick and mortar memorials, Remembering Our Fallen is designed to travel and includes both military and personal photos. Its legacy will be that these men and women will be remembered and their names will be spoken, while helping to lessen the grief of their families.
“At about 6:30 AM on Saturday morning, I pulled up in front of the Pinnacle Arena in Lincoln, NE where Scott and Howie directed a bunch of Marines in the installation of the Remembering Our Fallen exhibit. When it all is set and out in the morning sun, it is really an amazing tribute! The Gold Star Families that were present were very touched and I hope all of you are as proud as I am to have played a role in making this happen.
This exhibit will make its national debut in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC in September. We still have another 15 to 20 towers to go, but I want to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make this first debut a huge success!
www.PatrioticProductions.org had very kind words for the suppliers who were great partners in making this happen… Once again, thanks everyone for such great work. I know this exhibit will help to make sure that those men and women who gave all in our fight against terror since 2001 will not be forgotten.”

Paris, June 26 2009:
People get together outside of Notre-Dame in Paris to remember and celebrate the life and music of the King of Pop.
These flowers were left at the monument others lay close by withered and weather beaten. Probably left to remeber someone who loved this place and its view, someone who was loved and cherished.
Dr. Ali's living room wall is adorned with pictures of the Assad family, the Syrian flag, and Druse resistance fighters who battled the French back before World War Two.
Alzheimer's
(Noun)
Progressive mental deteriorization that can occur in middle or old age, due to generalized degeneration of the brain. It is the most common cause of premature senility.
That is the definition of Alzheimer's. What that definition fails to mention is that it affects so much more than the brain. You lose someone you love, to a point beyond recognition. Someone who raised you, forgets who you are, and you are left watching the person you love and admire slip away into a shell of lost memories.
All that is left is the hope that where ever their mind is resting now, it is somewhere that you can say "Remember me?" and they can reply "Always."

Spike died unexpectedly while I was on holiday in 1999. The lady who was looking after Spike Jack and Romeo had to break the bad news to me over the phone.
When I adopted him, they warned that he would have ill health all his life and that he would most likely go blind. He maintained his sight, but only had four teeth in his mouth for all his adult life. He was 3 and a half years old.
I light a candle on the anniversary of his death to honour him.

i remember when
when we were younger
when moments
seemed like they would never end
i remember when
when you looked at me
a smile crossing your lips
i remember your touch
your kiss
your words
all replay in my mind
over and over
a slow tormented melody
i want moments again
my heart aches
my soul breaks
without you
i remember when
time seemed endless
and now
it seems
time will never end.
