Today would have been my mum's 92nd birthday. She outlived everyone in her whole family! I took this photo in 2007 back in Canada where she lived.
Remembering - A scene from a dream where one almost remembers a time and place but it’s not quite right and inside out.. From a former school for the blind, Coatesville, PA.
5 today for you
On a recent day out in Arundel, West Sussex, we took shelter from the rain in the Cathedral.
I liked the light from these candles in this area for reflection.

........everything was manual in the old barbershop. I don't, but I can imagine the effort that went into operating these tools and how tired one's hands would be at the end of the day. I bet the conversations were better then......
Halle Berry has been a Red Carpet superstar for as long as I can remember. She has the hottest body in the league, great style and never misses a beat in public. Halle is what dreams are made of.
"Remember the Maine" was a rallying cry in the United States that fueled support for the Spanish-American War after the USS Maine battleship mysteriously exploded and sank in Havana Harbor on February 15, 1898, killing 260 crew members. The phrase and the unexplained sinking of the ship became a major catalyst for the war, with many American newspapers and citizens blaming Spain for the disaster. (Wikipedia)
Two years has passed since dearest Annabel suddenly left us
It was a chocked and tragic news. She was so young....

She was a dear Flick Friend and I miss her a lot. I miss her cute comments, her sharp words sometimes...Her conversations about the kids Vera and Isabella...
Missed but not forgotten.
Annabel, I know you are looking over your family
Big hug
Dedicated to all familys and friends of that fatal morning of 9-11-01 it was a complete devastation to N.Y.C. And the whole WORLD, that will never be forgotten...

Esa tarde… "I'll say it any way, today is another day to find you". Recuerda la canción, recuerda su rostro, su voz y, por primera vez, está pensando en esa persona.

Childhood = a life with full of happiness
A life with full of happiness = something that shouldn't be forgotten
As long as I remain in your memory, I am not gone.
Today’s prompt on ODC being immortal gave me the inspiration to create this image. I had seen a ghostly photograph about a year ago and knew one day I wanted to try my hand at it. I have to give a huge thanks to my husband for laying and waiting for 101 photos to be taken while I ran back and forth to check the viewfinder for just the right position. (I believe he took a short nap at one point). After playing, cropping, layering, enhancing, and converting to black and white, I decided to add a blue filter.

Just beyond the sunset
Someone waits for me
Just beyond the sunset
Lies my destiny
Where the purple mountains
Lie in deep tranquillity
There I’ll find the treasure
Of love eternally
Just beyond the sunset
Waits someone so fair
Just beyond the sunset
All alone they wait there
Their hair is golden
The colour of the sand
Their eyes sparkle in the night
Like diamonds in your hand
Just beyond the sunset
Lies a home for me
Where the world is peaceful
Like a paradise should be
Just beyond the sunset
Someday is where you’ll find me

The tallest tower in the background is in place of the Twin Towers. Their plan is to build six towers around that area.
This picture my wife took of me during our trip to NYC in Oct 2013. It was quite a trip. For some reasons I love the vibe of the city even though we were exhausted from walking hundreds of mile from place to place. I would love to come back and visit there in a near future!
The boat behind me was the Liberty boat taking and dropping off people from Manhattan to Liberty Island.
