As Tayrn Simon studied bloodlines and family relationships through photographs in “A Living Man Declared Dead,” this project used Family Tree charts completed by the students at home as the backbone for making a Kinship Diagram— visually outlining the relationships between their family members and family history using specific symbols (circle, square, triangle).
