On Love

"The demand to be safe in relationship inevitably breeds sorrow and fear. This seeking for security is inviting insecurity. Have you ever found security in any of your relationships? Have you? Most of us want the security of loving and being loved, but is there love when each one of us is seeking his own security, his own particular path? We are not loved because we don’t know how to love.

Love is something that is new, fresh, alive. It has no yesterday and no tomorrow. It is beyond the turmoil of thought. It is only the innocent mind which knows what love is, and the innocent mind can live in the world which is not innocent. To find this extraordinary thing which man has sought endlessly through sacrifice, through worship, through relationship, through sex, through every form of pleasure and pain, is only possible when thought comes to understand itself and comes naturally to an end. Then love has no opposite, then love has no conflict."

For those who may not know somehow, mansplaining is definitely not a new term but I'd define it as when a man decides that, because he's a man, he has certain knowledge or skills that a woman (because she's a woman) doesn't have and therefore the woman should definitely listen to him and consider that she could be wrong. I was thinking maybe this is something that actually happens sometimes after a bad date too when a man tries to convince a woman her perception of him wasn't correct and to give him another chance.

We should all actually listen to and respect each other and also gender is a construct. Have a nice day!

RELATIONSHIPS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE U FEEL BAD!

It is a symbiotic relationship. The peony produces nectar from unopened buds that ants love to eat, much like Bamboo says. There are a few species of plants that produce nectar outside of their flowers to tempt ants to live nearby.

The peony or paeony is a flowering plant in the genus Paeonia, the only genus in the family Paeoniaceae. Peonies are native to Asia, Europe and Western North America. Scientists differ on the number of species that can be distinguished, ranging from 25 to 40, although the current consensus is 33 known species. The relationships between the species need to be further clarified.

A relationship is like a rose, How long it lasts, no one knows. Love can erase an awful past, love can be yours, you'll see at last. To feel that love, it makes you sigh. To have it leave, you'd rather die. You hope you've found that special rose, 'cause you love and care for the one you chose.

~ Rob Cella

My husband gave me these roses about a week ago and I've been photographing them ever since and didn't like any of the images...until today, at breakfast, the light and as found setting appealed. I'm glad I didn't throw them out before sitting down to eat.

Relationship with a narcissist in a nutshell: You will go from being the perfect love of their life to nothing you do is ever good enough. You will give everything and they will take it all and give you less and less in return. You will end up depleted, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and probably financially, and then get blamed for it.

The Relationship

The first winters snowfall at one of my fave locations not too far from Leadhills. As everyone knows I always love a lone tree, I have photographed this one before, but it is the relationship between this one and the group in the distance that makes the image for me...perhaps it says more about me and my photography:) who knows.

Woodland Relationship

One of those cold and frosty misty mornings in the Eden Valley. Its always nice to find a nice wee woodland that you can spend a couple of hours walking about just taking in the atmosphere of the place, and actually take the time to look for views that you think will work for a shot.
