Relationship VII was left in Brussels, Belgium on 8/16/2010 at the intersection of Rue du Marché aux Fromages and Rue des Eperonniers
I use old record covers as a starting point for my hand-cut and paste collages. I then use only found objects or items from the trash, recycling bin, or 99¢ flea market boxes. Sometimes incorporating my own Polaroid photographs. Then I leave them out in public as street art for everyone to enjoy (or destroy.)

Heath Bunting - Identity4you (2012)
In Identity4You, Heath Bunting created off-the-shelf persons to be put up for sale; new legal identities built up from a portfolio of unique legal relationships. For this work - a continuation of Identity Bureau and the Status Project - Bunting draws on the fact that as a human being one can have many legal identities. These identities are constructed via a network of registrations; loyalty cards, telephone cards, bills, government correspondence, etc. The vaster the network, the stronger the legal identity. With this work, Bunting provides insight into the different networks, databases and systems in society that make up an identity: banks, health care, education, shops, addresses, etc. It thus becomes clear that identity depends mainly upon administrative systems, rather than personality or even a physical body.

Este año con el grupo de niñas y niños de Bailar el barrio queremos correr mucho sin movernos del sitio, llenar el espacio entero sin despegar los pies del suelo, desaparecer detrás de otra persona y aparecer por otro lado.
¿Crees que se pueden inventar lugares?
Junto con Raquel Sánchez creamos adivinanzas en el espacio para escuchar el cuerpo en un clima de confianza grupal en el que encontrarnos con el placer del movimiento y ampliar nuestra capacidad expresiva y de relación con otras personas.
Para ello pondremos en juego fenómenos cotidianos como el efecto de la gravedad, el espacio que ocupamos o desocupamos, el ritmo que genera nuestro caminar o cómo respiramos al reír.

This year with the group of girls and boys from Bailar el barrio we want to run a lot without moving from the site, fill the entire space without taking off the feet of the ground, disappearing behind another person and appearing on the other side.
Do you think you can invent places?
Together with Raquel Sánchez we create riddles in the space to listen to the body in a climate of group confidence in which to meet the pleasure of the movement and expand our expressive capacity and relationship with other people.
For this we will put into play everyday phenomena such as the effect of gravity, the space we occupy or vacate, the rhythm that our walking generates or how we breathe when we laugh.
Raquel Sánchez is dedicated to pedagogy and the practice of performing arts.
The fur of the Brown-throated Three-toed Sloth (Bradypus variegatus) is impregnated with algae. During the rainy season the fur of the sloth becomes green with growing algae. This sloth was photographed during the dry season when the algae is more brownish than green. It is believed that the algae/sloth is a symbiotic relationship. The hair on the sloth is grooved to provide the algae a place to live. Sloth hair is unique in that if the tip gets wet during a rain the water flows down the shaft (mixed with by-products from the algae) to the base of the hair where it is absorbed through the skin. The leaves that the sloth eats are low in energy producing nutrients (the reason sloths to not move fast). The absorbed by-products from the algae likely provide a needed food supplement.
