i don't think there is any truth, just points of view

Ok, i know I'm gonna catch some flack about this picture being my reject. I know it shouldn't be a reject. But I already had my picture done for today. I took this picture this morning and originally it had a bunch of flaws (the flaws were mine own person flaws, not camera flaws, unless you call highlighting my flaws a flaw, in which case, it IS a flaw!). But I downloaded some free photo editing software. I know "everybody does it" and frankly I feel a whole lot better knowing I can smudge out a wrinkle on an occasional close up. Hey. If the supermodels can do it, so can I!!

Difficult not to feel a little bit

disappointed and passed over

when I've looked right & through

to see you naked but oblivious

and you don't see me.

Okay, the color in this picture is washed out, but that has mostly do do with the fact that I'm in a hotel room 100 feet above street level, shooting a picture of trains that are a quarter of a mile away. The series 500 Shinkansen on the right is one of only two such trainsets ever built, so catching it nose to nose with a series 700 running the same Nozomi service is pretty rare.
