A kind of backstage pass at Bonnaroo that grants you infinite access. Death on Vacation was my favorite theme to stem from thinking about Infinity, but it just wasn't meant to be.
This was so dark you could barely see my face before I started editing work on it in Picnik.
Thanks again Jo for your lessons.

My best friend trying on lingerie at her Bachelorette Party. She decided that fuscia wasn't for her...
I was eating my bag of vegies for lunch on a cool cloudy day in Munising Michigan and tossed out a cherry tomato that did not measure up to my high freshness standards. In an instant a Sea Gull swoops down and proceeds to eat the tomato. I had my camera around my neck and was able to grab this shot as he tossed the tomato up and swallowed it.
I didn't realize this intrepid young man had made himself into a human sign until I saw the photo in large format on my computer. Had I noticed, I would have gotten a closer shot of him; since I didn't, this is the best I can do with a cropped image. It may not be good enough for a billboard but fine for social media sharing.

It was a close call for today, but I reject this photo as my daily self-portrait. I simply like that one better.
Here's the story though.
I used to take country dance class three or four nights a week. Then came Christmas break, and after that a January where I knew I'd miss several weeks of classes. So, Jamie and I decided to take the month off. Today we start taking classes again.
Something that I did for dance classes that I never did otherwise was wear cologne. I'm not sure how it came to be, because I like the smell of this one. It is Baldessarini by Hugo Boss.
Actually, I ought to come clean. The reason I liked wearing it to dance is the reaction it got the first time I wore it. In the dance class, we are required to change partners every minute or so in order that we men learn to lead. Plus, we are learning social dancing, not competition. The first night I wore it, the prettiest girl in the glass leaned in, closed her eyes, and murmured "You smell so good."
I got the hint.
Anyways, when I shower before class, I'll put some cologne on so that I smell nice. Better than the alternative, eh?
