These are designs from when I worked at Nelvana last year. They were never used, and I was put on the Future is Wild before getting another crack at it.

While headquartered here, Washington famously rejected Continental Army Colonel Lewis Nicola’s suggestion that the new American government should follow their commander’s (Washington) lead in a monarchical system of government. The General vehemently rejected this idea and stated that nothing in the war so far gave him a more “painful sensation.”*

Suffice to say, “King” Washington never came to be…

This was an idea I had for a Trojan Horse trophy. Ultimately Josh and I agreed that it wasn't as cool as a trophy he had already built for the same category, so he scrapped it in favor of his. However, I refined the idea a bit more, picked a better palette of colors, and revived the trophy for BricksCascade.

I took about ten photos with my bracelets, weeded it down to five shots, then four. Then I kept three. This was one that I didn't use for my 365days submission- part of my hand was cut off or something else somewhat trivial.

My daughter said: "There's too much going on in this one." I told her it was just a photo of the rubber bracelets I have but never wear (not so much a theme other than just bracelets).
