The 88 Drive-In (Commerce City, Colorado) runs a few vintage drive-in theater ads, such as this one for the concession stand, mentioned here as the more erudite "Refreshment Center". Note the Lowe's distribution center across the street; it causes a lot less light pollution than you might expect.

The old station at Fines-Olula is a fascinating place to wander around although it is in very poor condition after years of neglect. Yet, surprisingly it survived when a nearby road was completely rebuilt and originally threatened to engulf the site

which was taken on the same visit! March 2000. And no I don't know why they serve Coors in a Bud glas, they're both full of gas and chemicals so it makes little difference. I was driving so had to stick to coffee!
