Last month, I stayed in the province for a month. I came back refreshed, a couple of pounds heavier and ready to take on the world and whatever it had to throw at me... under a week's time I was waving the white flag, succumbing to the pressures of urban life. The immediate solution is just to take a day at a time and to start saying no and live with the consequences.

What a HOT day! better not going out, not even to the pool ...though Chii found her own pool for today!
Pink grapefruit, snapped by the Sonnar design Takumar 58/2. The lens was produced in a short run from 1957, and sold with a Pentax AP camera.
The 58/2 has a reputation for beautiful bokeh. It's quite a rare lens and there are not so many images from the lens on the web, something I hope to change!
Everyone at Yahoo is getting new laptops over the next few weeks. I got a 15" Retina MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and a 500GB SSD. It is insanely fast. Pretty pleased.

121 Pictures in 2021 - #101. Thirst quenching
The splash and blubbling movement of water in the Victoria Square fountain, in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. It is a very hot dat today with a scorching sun, and the water was very cool and refreshing to my hot tired feet. I found some peace and harmony here, with the soothing roar of the water jets blocking out the city hustle and bustle.
BTW the water was not this green ... it is my processing ... to add colour and interest :-)
