So refreshing to be able to spend sometime taking in the fresh air and listening to the raging creeks in the gorge. Hope everybody had a great 3 day weekend! Happy Tuesday!
I am always admiring this lovely waterfall in Spring, it is so refreshing and inviting.
Moreover it is located just a few minutes from home :)
The current blog post features some of the amazing wildlife that we encountered during our winter trip to the Tetons and surrounding areas via images and stories. Of course, one of the more dependable to spot was the moose.
We spotted moose in a variety of locales, with a variety of number in their grouping (solo to a dozen or more together), and of course, a variety of ages. Males and females were spotted, though during the winter when their antlers have dropped, it's sometimes difficult from a distance to tell them apart. By now, of course, the males will be sporting beautiful developing velvet-covered antlers.
Often we find the moose in the midst of trees, making a clear shot all but impossible. My favorite shots are those out in the open ... especially with the sun highlighting their fur and features. So, needless to say I was quite excited when I found this one making its way down the river foraging both food ... and a drink ... as it did. Doesn't this look quite refreshing? Well, it sure does to me, as we are expected to reach triple digits again.

At dawn, the sky is red and bright.
The wide ocean is clear and colorful
It transforms into a kana location.
And repeatedly hit the reef
The waves that make you wrap in delicate colors every moment
Rare, divine and beautiful dream
Create a vision.
Happy morning !!

The Refreshing sounds and sight of the Water falling over the rocks in the Bronx river at Scarsdale, New York
We went to Al Khobar by car and I came back by plane as the others had to stay there longer. It was interesting to watch the sand dunes turn to a refreshing whiter and whiter as we drove closer and closer to Al Khobar!

Gee, looking at all my Pohoiki shots, I don't have any of the shoreline. There is no sand - maybe a little black sand but mostly rocks. There is also a boat ramp so water is not that clean near the shore and I do not advise swimming there.
Also, I do not recommend any female going there alone or male for that matter that is not familiar with the area. I experienced a couple of situations yesterday that were more than uncomfortable.
