The Maid of the Loch paddle steamer being refreshed and restored at Loch Lomond shore Balloch. The hull has been lifted clear out of the water to make any necessary repairs and to refresh the paint to its original state.

The London Marathon 2016

After a few weeks checking reports and more reports, this week promises to be normal. Again I could play a little with my pictures...and believe me, did pine for it. In this gerbera I used higher constrast and a bit of low saturation. Great next HBW to all!!!

Young Butch feeling a little cooler hopefully after a bathe on a very hot day in Brisbane. Not sure if it's "he" or "she". It must have had its nictitating membranes over its eyes while bathing, as you can see it in the main photo and in the first comment box.

And yes, we have two birdbaths side by side now so that there's not as much jealousy if the magpies and butcherbirds come at the same time and hope for a drink or bath.

Evie on the beach this afternoon, she made full use of the sea bathing facility as you can see! (also photo on comments).

I paddled to my hearts content too, so good on a very hot day, we shared an ice cream too. I took a flask of water each for us to keep hydrated.
