Busy getting the garden back in order after the trip.

I have lots of Japan photos to process and post, but will do that in time.

I am really enjoying the photos and the memories they refresh.

Meanwhile, a foxglove plant has volunteered to grow in one of the perennial pots on our back patio.

It’s only a few steps from the back door. It's choking out some of the other plants in the pot, but I am having fun inspecting it and it's beautiful form on a regular basis.

Quite a different set colour tones from my digital camera compared to the Fujichrome film shot of the same plant a few posts back.

â–¶ They say to spray water droplets on flowers when shooting close-ups. I prefer to wait for nature to provide the raindrops. Waiting for a breeze to subside: that's another thing.

Caught this in a deserted alley at night which made for an interesting scene. I was surprised how well it turned out considering the lighting was terrible. The car itself looks great with the LP640 wheels I think.

This fern can grow really huge, a fact I didn't fully realise until my visit to Hilliers Gardens. It is in the wrong place, like so much else in my garden!
