Emelia who walked the final path in the evening on Monday, 10th of august 2020, is survived by her husband. she finally succumbed to bone marrow cancer. at the final moments her husband never realized that she had started on her final journey as she had her eyes closed peacefully and a smile lingered on her lips.
ever since yesterday when the news came, i am being haunted by those big, dark, bright eyes that had once stared deep into my soul and that comforting soothing smile that made me straightaway fall in love with her personality.
some moments that are refreshed...
her hands were really big and solid...the glass bangles i brought from India broke...ha ha ha
the red 'bindi' on her big forehead! like an Indian guru...wish she could spend some time in meditation in the Himalayas...but never mind, she is in a better place, closer to HIM.
at the ripe age of 65 she took up boxing! unbelievable energy she had, that made her a Reiki Master'...(i often used to ref to her with this title)
she was very interested in hinduism...so

i too need a little time to myself, so shall be away from all social media for some time...

It's going to be a warm day again today. To cool off, I invite you to the beautiful Trieb valley in the Vogtland. in Saxony.
Here on the riverbank, in the shade of the trees, it is pleasantly cool even in summer. If this is not enough for you, you are welcome to take off your shoes and put your feet in the clear and cold water of the river. This refreshes and invigorates the body.

Heute wird mal wieder ein warmer Tag. Zur Abkühlung lade ich Euch ins wunderschöne Triebtal im Vogtland in Sachsen ein.
Hier am Ufer, im Schatten der Bäume, ist es auch im Sommer angenehm kühl. Wem dies noch nicht reicht, der kann gern seine Schuhe ausziehen und die Füße ins klare und kalte Wasser des Flusses stecken. Das erfrischt und belebt den Körper.

This Iceland poppy (papaver nudicaule / Islandmohn) was gone almost completely one day after planting and could only be saved from the slugs by moving it to a flower pot.
After a few very hot days, there was a heavy rain shower early this morning ️️⛈️️️ Not only the flowers appreciate this ️😄 Happy Sunday ☀️

One of the wonderful scenes to see in Namibia is the beautiful black faced impala as they gather at the waterhole to get refreshed for the day. I love Namibia and all the beauty it has to offer and We are looking forward to returning in May and June of 2020. Our trip this year has one spot available and we are already planning for 2021.
