I've never really done one of these splash shots before and I've always thought they looked like fun. Last week while in Vegas we went to Coca-Cola world and I decided that I wanted to do a Coke themed splash. It was quite fun dropping ice cubes into this glass until two random people came up behind me and asked if I was "mixing drinks", they didn't seem too interested in what I was actually doing so thankfully they left!
Hope you all have a good weekend!

the roof is one of my favorite places to be.
in the summer
lauren and i bring blankets
and sit up against the chimney
and look at the stars
if i'm in a bad mood
i go out there and breathe in the air.
but today i was just looking at the fog.

Nothing like heading out to the beach for sunrise walk, photoshoot, surfing or even just sitting down by the beach and enjoying the view and the fresh air.

Elakala Falls #2
Shay's Run
Blackwater Falls State Park
Taken two days after heavy rains - and my previously posted image - Elakala #2 still had some great waterflow and silty colored water. I photographed the falls of Elakala on numerous occasions during my stay last month - either alone or with friends - I have many different images of the falls, taken in various stages of waterflow and / or under various conditions of light. I trust as I post more images of these beautiful waterfalls, you won't tire of them . . . I know I never tire of seeing or photographing them.

CN 8314, formerly 5796, takes the tight curve through the yard area in Ranier, Minnesota while rear of the train is still crossing the headwaters of the Rainy River over the historic cantilever bridge.
The locomotive is part of a rebuilding program by CN, and the unit's classification is now SD70IACC.
Going to have to get the map out and refresh my memory to work out exactly where these were taken. Started the walk from Middleton in Teesdale. It's a lovely lush valley surrounded by bleak expanses of moorland. There might have been a waterfall on route too.
Hols just around the corner so I always put my soft type trainers in the washer with loads of conditioner & they come out sparkling ! ;-)))))
