Walking past the Queen Elizabeth Hall, I came across this window reflection, looking into a concert inside. I loved the combination of the group performing, superimposed with the reflection of the Embankment scenery and Hungerford Bridge.
The performance was part of a free event called Writings on The Wall featuring a number of bands. I did walk in during this performance which was actually quite good. I have included a photo in the comments from the exact opposite pov looking towards the same window from the inside.
This was The Samantha Durnan Band, if you are interested you can find them at www.myspace.com/samanthadurnanmusic
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and thanks for your visit, comments and faves!

This was taken in Temagami ON. In this area, the biomass at the bottom of the pond makes the water look black and it provides nice reflections as a result. Temagami is a region in Northern Ontario, about five to six hours north of Toronto, well north of North Bay.

Autumn Reflection
Maine
I didn't get much autumn shooting in this weekend, I had other things going on, but I did manage to make it up to a lake in Maine where I spent a lot of time as a kid. I was lucky and the foliage was pretty much at peak color around the lake. As the sun was going down the light wind completely died and the lake became a mirror.

Only found in the Kafue Flats area of Zambia, Kafue Flats lechwe have long elegant legs and huge dark eyes. It is only the male Lechwe that have beautiful swept back horns. Kafue Flats lechwe typically live in swampy floodplains, they are extremely well adapted for this habitat with hooves that spread wide, allowing them to move easily in swampy conditions.
I took a quick walk through Bundek park, hoping for some inspiration. Inspiration came, but it was short-lived - just a bunch of dry branches and a whole lot of reflections. December 2018.

Despite going through the doorway many times I seldom stopped to look at the reflection in the fanlight over the door. My eyes were more often drawn to things left by the step, I still have a pint glass I found there one morning. Items were left by people that had left one of the several night clubs in the neighbourhood and were always pleasant to behold. Drawn with a Staedtler 0.3mm pencil and Tombow Mono zero eraser in an A4 cartridge paper sketchbook.
