I though that this image would be an appropriate one to take the time to thank all of my Flickr friends for their visits and kind comments on my photos. 💕
This time of the year takes me out as much as possible into nature. Also, lots of garden projects and maintenance, going on. We just did a big yard sale at our friends place and are preparing for summer visitors.
Needless to say, taking and posting my photos, looking at, admiring, and commenting on all of your wonderful images is time consuming.. so please forgive me for getting behind at my sincere thank you responses!
Believe me that your comments make my day and are connections that I appreciate, especially with the isolation here. It is great to feel like my Flickr friends made the move with me! I can't believe this is our third year already!
Group Hug!! Sue 😊
Rydal Cave is situated on Loughrigg Fell and is actually a man-made cavern, which was formerly known as Loughrigg Quarry. The cave has been hollowed out of a rocky outcrop which overlooks picturesque Rydal Water. Over two hundred years ago, Rydal Cave was a busy working quarry supplying excellent quality roofing slate to the surrounding local villages.
This cave is a must visit if you are in the area. As well as the stunning rock walls you can get some brilliant photos shooting into or out of the cave.

Mr. Smiley begins another gorgeous day!
It's not really a reflection, but two different rooms.
Thanks to Crimson wolf for pointing out my previous mistake.
today(27/03/12) early morning at the Rocks Sydney Opera House reflection, Sydney, Australia.
God bless you and keep smiling.
Camera: Zero 2000 pinhole camera
Film: Ilford FP4 Plus 125, rated @ ISO 100
Exposure: 15 sec @ f/138, tripod
Film developed and scanned by Foto Brell, Bonn
Edited under Adobe Lightroom
Since pinhole cameras do not have a viewfinder and it is therefore not possible to precisely define the image frame, the negative scan had to be cropped slightly to achieve a satisfactory composition. Otherwise, I edit the scans as little as possible so as not to change too much the character of the dreamy and soft pinhole rendering.
I took this photo using a Tilt Shift Lens in San Francisco towards Market Street when I noticed that there were several layers of reflections - and it gives an illusion that cars are driving right through the store. Also images on right side are ones coming from streets behind me. Some of the reflections are inside the Ghiradeli store
