Reference photo by Richard Avedon. I chose to shoot like Richard Avedon for this project because I was very drawn to his simplistic approach and emotions he captured on camera. Particularly in his "American West" collection. Most of my photos are inspired by the "American West" photos he did.

As a kid, the Deora II was my favorite Hot Wheels car and the star of the movie: “Hot Wheel: World Race.” This model was based on the toy and the real-world example built by Chip Foose of Foose Design. My version featured two surf boards, a clam-shell driver canopy, a large rear-mounted decorative engine, and a quad exhaust system. It was remotely controlled through two Power Functions receivers, powered by two RC Race Buggy Motors (4292), and steered with a Power Functions servo.
