Refelction

I waited very patiently for a bird to fly by...missed most of them

The refelction of the sun on the water was brilliant. Also i tried to capture the boat heeled over as we sailed towards the sunset. Ahhh

Deliberate soft focus

Coming off the train, out of the station to the Conference Venue, I saw my reflection through water & glass. Unfortunately, my DSLR was not with me, I had to shot myslef whatever is available.

This the new home for firstsite in Colchester Essex. A purpose built gallery designed by international architect Rafael Vinoly. The building is clad in TECU Gold, which is a copper and aluminium alloy that oxidises to a matt golden yellow. then mellows into a soft gold. The aluminium prevents the copper from turning green.

Along 23rd Street I resort to carrying my camera tilted upward at waist level snapping sneaky shots of passersby. Really I want to have the courage and the charisma to openly photograph them but it is only at this store I find a subject who I am not afraid to point my lens directly at.
