This area has been in a disused state for sometime & development will brighten it up.

Progress 25 Feb 2009. Last renovated in 1980 the Champlain Mill will be outfitted with new windows which closely replicate the originals. HallKeen is the developer. The Mill houses several tenants including the Winooski Memorial Library, Physicians Computer Company and the Champlain College Emergent Media Center.
The development to include residential, commercial, leisure and retail spaces all contained within five blocks that wrap around three sides of the square.

This was King Edward House, part of King Edward Court. It was tucked in behind the original Waitrose and housed the offices of some catering companies.

Also taken near the end of Kirkgate, this view of the demolished Broadway area shows where the road of Cheapside used to be, bending right and towards the grassed area of Forster Square, which was just infront of the former post office building (dead-centre of picture), which is itself infront of Bradford Cathedral.
Speaking of kaboom, I heard, in the news, that a car jumped up on the sidewalk and crashed into a window of the Granary Building at the waterfront.
Sure enough, here's the plywood, I guess. I wondered what windows the car hit as on the waterside, it would have had to jump a bigger curb. Possibly it would have fallen through the decking material which is over water, but looks like it was on this side of the building. Not the water side.
