Red Dragonfly on a red flowering stalk of Croscomia "Lucifer" flower plant.

I am delightedly surprised to see this type and color of Dragonfly that I last saw half a world away, in tropical Bangladesh !!! Out of all places, in Newcastle, Washington (State) !!! At a Fruit & Produce & Nursery Stand, sitting on an also deep red blooming stalk of a Croscomia "Lucifer" flower plant !!! What a sight that was!!! At first I thought it was a lawn ornament, then it moved and flicked its wings! And I was like, "Oh my Gosh! IT IS REAL!" I ran back to my car to grab my camera and snapped a few pics. Here are a few. They are fun to watch.

This is the first dragonfly I've photographed and although it's not perfect, I'm so happy to have captured it, that I want to share it anyway. It was flitting around the garden and landing briefly on the pavers. Could it be a Red-veined darter?
