This is the dogwood tree in my front yard in bloom. There are other images in my photostream of the same tree covered in snow and/or ice. This is much better.

Denali National Park
Denali is tall enough that it makes its own weather. Approximately 30% of all visitors to the park get to see it. Most of the time it is covered by clouds. It was out all day for us.

Eielson, at mile 66 of the Park Road was as far as we went into the park. It was an 8 hour round trip from the entrance.

I've been inspired to try a few new B&W HDRS for my 2010 project on "Fortified Gosport".
3 shots + / - 2 ev, combined in Photomatix, finished off in Photoshop and Nik Silver Efex Pro.
