Flower Spider

I spotted this really tiny Flower Spider on the back of a Seaside Daisy today. The Spider is around 2 mm in length.

Really red, with yellow anthers.

Thank you for looking. Isn't God a great artist?

Of the three recent misty shots I took, I like this one the most. Mainly because I had to "work" for it a little more. The first two were taken down by the sea when I saw this scene developing across the bay. Sadly some trees were blocking my view of the line of misty trees so had to walk/trott back up the hill to my home and then find another view point. Wasn't too sure the mist would stay for the 5 minutes I was half-jogging. Lucky for me it did. This shot was taken about one hour after sunset. Living in the north at this time of year it doesn't really get dark after sunset. Though I am glad I don't live further north with the sun being up 24 hours a day. Think I'd go nuts with that lol!

The other reason I like this shot is that jetty features in one of my all-time favourite shots, though from a completely different angle, seen below in the first comment.

The sunset never really developed, but I'd taken so many photos already, that perhaps it was just as well. There are so many options on these beaches, you're never short of possibilities. Evidently chickentown, by John Cooper Clarke is fine, as it's got nothing to do with it, but it was ducks yesterday, so it's chickens today.

Really digging this shot! What a perfect dirt road for the composition.

Suluada Island it really is beautiful with gorgeous turquoise waters. The coastline is stunning and we sailed around the island watching the rocks lining the water

"But I never really had a doubt

Standing in the light of your halo

I got my angel now

It's like I've been awakened

Every rule I had you break it

It's the risk that I'm taking

I ain't never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now

I'm surrounded by your embrace

Baby, I can see your halo

You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more

It's written all over your face

Baby, I can feel your halo".

---

"Pero nunca tuve siquiera una duda

De pie frente a la luz de tu halo

Tengo mi ángel ahora

Es como si me hubieran despertado

Cada regla que tuve la rompiste

Es el riesgo que estoy tomando

Yo nunca voy a apartarte

Donde quiera que mire ahora

Estoy rodeada por tu abrazo

Bebé, puedo ver tu halo

Sabes que eres mi gracia salvadora

Eres todo lo que necesito y más

Está todo escrito sobre tu cara

Bebé, puedo sentir tu halo".

Really great spell of weather at last, and for once it looks like South Wales may get some snow later in the week, but I've got to go to Scotland for two weeks. It'd be ironic if South Wales has lots of snow and North West Scotland has none . Never mind, I've got to go is by Tiny Dancers, and Scotland is always magical whatever the weather.

Really great to watch this lightning storm with my granddaughter from the second floor at home

I really love this shot. I was going to hold off on posting it, because I've had a few edits that I wasn't going to make public yet, but when I did this one, I decided to post them all! This is my favorite and I couldn't wait!

For some reason, I haven't hit Explore for about 2 1/2 years, and I really wish this one could make the difference. Whether it ever does or not, I still like it and hope you do, too!

I continue to feel more normal each day, and though I'm still a trifle congested, it's not much more than on a regular allergy kind of day! Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers during this time. I very much appreciate it!

🌸I really appreciate all of your lovely comments and favs, Thank you sooooo much! :))))

Please No group awards for me, and also no glitter graphics or flashing images! I'd prefer a comment if you have the time, thank you again :)))🌸

Park Hyo Shin - Memories resemble Love

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZIbDXv7cfA

Memories Resemble Love

You are blowing

The wind inside my heart called "you"

As you have always done

you shook up my heart

and left me with

only memories

I lost my way

Because I only ever followed you

without any doubts

So I've come to this point

But you aren't here

on this unfamiliar road

Take them with you

Even our good memories

Without you

They will only be a burden to me

If I keep bringing them back up

My longing will only grow

I take one step back down

that path and stop again

Memories look like love

so I'll keep looking back on them

Because you're still there

I guess that's why it hurts

In case once, just once

you might look at me too

Today I wait again

What am I going to do now?

No matter how much I try to escape you

I can't even go a few feet away

Every day in the same place

Every day, with the same burden

I live each day

No matter where I look, I only see you

The eyes you looked at me with

keep troubling me

So I close my eyes again

and when I try to erase you

my firmly closed lips tremble

and the tears I held back flow

Memories look like love

so I'll keep looking back on them

Because you're still there

I guess that's why it hurts

In case once, just once

you might look at me too

Today I wait again

If I turn around one day

and you're looking at me

what should I do?

I won't be able to say anything

You know me well

Memories go with the wind

and someday they'll be scattered

Even though I cry, even though I try to shout

Even though I try to pretend

That person I can't forget

Today I wait again

You know me well

Really liked the light here and the compression zooming in at 105mm.

Have a good start into the new week everybody!

Really don't know why I'm sharing this one only now, a beautiful morning at my vacation in Italy almost 2 years ago.

Thanks for having a look! All faves and comments are highly appreciated!

A French built locomotive and golden fields, it could as well be somewhere in France. The people and animals prove that we are somewhere really different though.

We see locomotive E-1312 heading a train towards Casablanca.

A really nice morning but with a modest layer of Canadian wildfire smoke low on the horizon. Most places in the northeastern US have been dealing with this for some time. Luckily, Delmarva would get high winds and much-needed rainfall within the next few days to improve the situation for a while. The smoke has returned this week covering an area from Iowa to New York reaching as far south as parts of North Carolina.

Binx has really come along. He now is the proud new owner of our house and everything in it......including us. HAHA! He has the sweetest little disposition and keeps us entertained. I wasn't sure about getting him and worried myself sick over it, especially when he hid for so long. But now......I can't imagine our household without him. He was exactly what we needed when we needed it and I would like to think he feels the same. :)

Happy Belated Caturday!

I really like the eye contact on this one and the full shimmer of the gorget. I have quite a few poses to add for later. Click to enjoy large. :)

I really want to thank everyone who sent me emails and well wishes for my husband during his hospital stay! He will be coming home tomorrow and I am so glad, he was in the hospital for 6 long days and Snoopy and I really missed him!

I just can't tell you how much it means to me that so many people care!

Do we really believe that our brain is big enough to understand all there is? Do we think that the world is an object that we can control, exploit and manipulate? If 'yes' is our answer, there can be no dialogue between ourselves and the world. Our monologue would dominate and ultimately result in silence. Fuji X-Pro1 plus Helios 44M-7 at F11.

Really struggled to think of something original and different for this theme on Crazy Tuesday. I tried a few different ideas but none of them seemed to work, especially not to my satisfaction.

Gave up for a while and decided, mid-afternoon to boil an egg as a snack as feeling a bit peckish and whilst the water was boiling away, the thought struck me that maybe there might be a suitable ‘motion blur’ shot in the pan, not just the egg!

I took some shots and, lo and behold I arrived at some images that might prove suitable, I thought. I chose this one and after a little cropping decided that it was different and in my mind, quite original. The water surface appears smoothed out, adopting an oily look and getting rid of the individual bubbles, small and big. In my mind it looks a bit like transparent lava in the mouth of a volcanic crater! I know, I have a weird brain!

See what you think!

Thanks to photography, I have been delighted by Mother Nature many many times, mostly in her simplest ways.

Things I haven't noticed before are now sharply visualized right before my very eyes. I am more sensitive to her smiles, and frowns, and carefree moments.

A cloud formation, a neighborhood sunrise, a raindrop, my daughter's jump and laughters... A friend's pensive moment... I see light now...

Around us is beauty, we just have to really open our eyes...

HBW, my friends!!!
