I really love fog...It hides you from the world and the world from you. You feel that everything has changed, and nothing is what it seemed to be. No one can find or touch you any more.

― Eugene O'Neill

Really should put a bit more effort into my titles ;)

Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's Agapanthus shot and have a good week everyone.

Not really the weather for messing around on the Norfolk Broads but at least some of the wildlife braved it. This Reed Warbler was trying to shelter from the rain.

I really like this shot, the structure of the mountains and the glaciers - and particularly the little yellow bus coming out of nowhere.

It is a great model to fold. For the big one I used a silver foil piece of paper 30x30cm and for the little ones, each one piece 15x15cm.

Another obsession of mine are HATS.. even in SL! Be prepared to be dazzled by these HATS!

My male BFF bought me this hat as a joke... I'm so laughing now!!

Really enjoyed doing this. Took a lot of time but we certainly learn new skills in the Group. Thanks Maria.

Looking forward to seeing your images folks. Have a great Saturday.

Got really lucky that the morning was so calm and the water was still, except for the occasional duck. On the left is the South Sister and on the right is Broken Top.

Located in the heart of Central Oregon just 25 miles west of Bend, Sparks Lake is a large, shallow lake. Situated near the northwest edge of Mount Bachelor, the lake boasts spectacular views of Broken Top and South Sister in addition to Mount Bachelor. Sparks Lake was formed by volcanic activity in the area over 10,000 years ago. Pristine alpine streams flow into this beautiful lake.

Sparks Lake is a natural body of water near the crest of the central Cascade Range in Deschutes County.

Well, not really. Just my imagination!

I'd much rather hang out in a cafe. That's where things are really happening.

Joe Sacco

The Blue Water Café is located in downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior and is a long time favorite of locals and visitors.

Blue Water Café is a family owned business and provides a full menu. We serve breakfast all day, lunch, and dinner. Our omelettes have been acknowledged as being one of the top ten in the state of Minnesota.

Whether you are wanting to shop, dine, relax, fish, ski, hike or sit on the beach, Blue Water Café is located in the middle of everything.

We recently added a vacation rental above the Café that can sleep 6 guests and provides a great view of downtown Grand Marais, Lake Superior and the Sawtooth Mountains.

Really I began the day

Not with a man's wish: "May this day be different,"

But with the birds' wish: "May this day

Be the same day, the day of my life.”

From my Yak.

Can't wait to get back to kayaking, we still have lots of ice...very soon though, hopefully. I also ride my horse here as well.

I really like autumn but not these grey November days. So here's a shot from a walk on a sunny day in the Harz Mountains in October ☀️ Have a sunshiny Sunday everybody ☀️

The Ilse valley (German: Ilsetal) is the ravine of the Ilse stream in the northern boundary of the Harz mountain range in Germany. Part of the Harz National Park, it runs from the town of Ilsenburg at the foot of the mountain range up to the source region near the summit of the Brocken massif, the highest mountain of the range. The scenic valley is a popular hiking area (Wikipedia)

Imagine forgetting your ice cubes on a miserable wet day in Glasgow.....

The beach really caught my eye with the strong lines caused by a digger I guess. We did a great Coastwalk for here to Exmouth in the far distance which I can thoroughly recommend. There was one good day of weather but then it all went down hill rapidly.

I feel at the happiest when I can witness magic iike this, where the sun creates this beautiful light with water drops.

The weather has become a lot colder now in Fall and despite the colder humid air, this makes it all worth it. Nothing can measure to beauty like this, which is even hard to photograph.

I really enjoyed this exchange. I love when chemistry comes through in a photo. I really love SL sometimes, where a random encounter can be something so artistic. He made me a believer.
