53 readers took part in the News of the World Read-Aloud on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the MST Atrium. All in all, 24 students and 29 faculty and staff brought the book to life for the nearly 120 people who dropped during the day to listen the readers.
The Sony Reader was one of the earliest e-book readers, with the first version launched almost a year before Amazon Kindle 1.0 was released. So far, Sony has three versions of the Reader including one touchscreen-based model and two with keyboards.

READERS ARE LEADERS is a reading program organized and supported by Philipsburg Jubilee Library and the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise. The goal is to stimulate reading by teenagers and to show that reading is fun! Reading is important to develop yourself, to develop imagination and curiosity and it let's you think outside
the box.

I love that at the Christmas Eve service some of our younger congregants read. It's such a joy to see them active and serving--it's biblical! Josiah and Samuel served the Lord with fervor at a young age.

from the archives - on the far bank of Shaker Lakes a solitary reader sits on the old boat launch. Boats are no longer allowed on Shaker Lakes so the area is overgrown with trees and only accessible by walking trail.
