53 readers took part in the News of the World Read-Aloud on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the MST Atrium. All in all, 24 students and 29 faculty and staff brought the book to life for the nearly 120 people who dropped during the day to listen the readers.

Parker and I like to use Google reader in the morning to read blogs. He likes TUAW and Strobist feeds the best. That's my boy.

This guy had the right idea — no hubbub, no fuss, no jockeying for a good spot to shoot from. Just a good book.

Intel's Digital Health Group researched and designed the Intel Reader to assist people who need assistance with reading text such as books, newspapers, magazines. The produce is built on an Intel Atom processor, runs on the Moblin operating systems, features a camera and software for capturing, converting text to speech and allowing the creation of MP3 files to playing on computers and media devices. The Intel Reader was introduced in November 2009.

This is a beautiful looking book. But, again, what Readers' Digest does to literature, Jeffrey Dahmer did to his young male companions. This book contained "My Enemy the Queen", "The Good Old Boys", "By the Rivers of Babylon", "Breakpoint" and some of the worst illustrations I've ever seen.
