I show here the procession of Readers waiting to enter the Cathedral for the Solemn Eucharist in thanksgiving for Bishop Edward King on Sat 6th March 2010. I managed to photograph the processions of clergy and readers but not, alas the most distinguished of the processions, that of the retired clergy ("The See gave up its Dead!) - which included two retired bishops and two Deans Emeriti along with retired canons and also-rans like me! One of the retired Deans was The Very Revd The Hon Oliver Twistleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, Dean of Lincoln from 1969-89 and one of no less than three surviving Lincoln Deans Emeriti! (The Very Revd Dr Brandon Jackson did not attend the event!)
Church Street in Tulbagh is lined with some beautiful examples of original Cape- Dutch, Edwardian and Victorian National Monuments, apparently the largest number in one street in South Africa! We had a wonderful walk along the street, restored after a 1969 earthquake.
Its supposed to be one of those magnetic readers for monthly parking for some garage, but the cover has been removed. Looks cooler to me though

Over 150,000 votes were cast to select top winners in 95 categories across the county.
A special thanks to the Grove for hosting the event, our valued event sponsors and special guest presenters!
Foxit’s eSlick’s price tag is probably the best thing going for it right now. The device offers features similar to the Kindle and the
Sony Reader. But at 6.4 ounces, eSlick is among the lightest readers on the market and comes with internal memory of 128 MB and a 2-GB SD card, and the standard 6-inch screen.
