Primary School students and staff commemorated Read Across America Week Feb. 29 - March 4 in conjunction with Dr. Seuss's birthday to celebrate literacy.

Read Aloud Family Day was a collaboration event with LibroMobile a bookstore in Downtown Santa Ana. We had 3 bilingual authors come out and read aloud to the families with children. After, the book reading they autograph the books. Our community read the 4th author book that was not able to make it. We provided over 200 books to the families that attended the event. There was also pan dulce and aguas frescas. The importance of this event is to encourage parents and caregivers to read aloud to their children by taking a book home.
