One of life's little inconveniences is figuring out which earbud is left and which is right. Sure, they're labeled "L" and "R", but it's so tiny and hard to read that it makes it hard to see which is which, and when you start untangling the cords it's easy to lose track all over again.
A quick fix is to put some sort of identifying mark on one or both of the earbuds. Colored Sharpie or nail polish would work, but I didn't want a permanent blemish on the buds. So I chose to use my favorite marking tool, colored electrical tape. It can be picked up from any hardware or electronics supplier for cheap - usually under $1 per colored roll. It's easy to cut and work with, and the stretchy adhesive tape sticks quite well to a variety of surfaces. Best of all, it's not permanent and can be easily removed.
I always look for the left earbud out of habit, so I decided to simply mark the "L" bud with a thin strip of orange electrical tape. I used a sharp Exacto knife to cut a thin strip of tape that was about an inch long. Then I just wrapped the tape around the shaft of the earbud, stretching it a bit as I wrapped to give it some staying power. It looks great and makes figuring out which bud is which a breeze.

It takes around 6 months to produce Lvp. Three layers are sprayed onto a spinning cylinder, which gets coated in resin before each layer goes down. After everything dries, the planks are sliced into different sizes. All of the finishing touches take place at this point. Planks can be polished or given a film finish before they’re packaged for shipping.
Luxury Vinyl Plank (Lvp) is more durable than hardwood flooring but not as durable as solid vinyl planks. It can be installed almost anywhere and on all surfaces.

Taken by the Isar River not too far from where I live. I read this book while studying (math and physics) as an exchange student at the University of Maryland in 1994. In contrast to all my physics professors, Penrose (who was the thesis advisor of even more famous physicist Stephen Hawking) clearly points out in this book some of the fundamental problems of quantum theory, namely that two different (even contradictory) laws are used, one in Schödinger's equation for the time-evolution of wave functions, and the other for the collapse of the wave function related to measurements (this was the first time I read or heard of this problem). Penrose mentions ideas for marrying the laws, but, to my knowledge, the issue remains unsolved to this day (and is, unfortunanately, rarely discussed).
