"You're old" was the only design request from this customer. I hate writing on cakes and I spent more time trying to work that out than any other part of this cake!
Nearly nine years before that retro phenomenon Heartbeat hit British TV screens this shot was taken of JHN562K an ECW bodied Bristol RE of United seen after having just gone under the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Moorgates nr Goathland.
This shot was taken in July 1983 and Heartbeat first aired in April 1992.
This bridge is the reason that Yorkshire Coastliners service to Whitby has to enter and leave the the village by the same route as due to its popularity deckers are now used on the service.
I am a choco-holic, as much as I am a Re-Mentaholic. One day, I'm going to put these pieces in my mouth! Including the old radio set which looks so chocolate-y, hehe!
The Swiss Express locomotive with Intercity 929 Zürich HB - Chur departing from Zürich. Merci pour le sifflet!
Hey there,
this one is just a little re-edit of my previous shot. I found a new way to edit my landscapes and to get the best out of them. I also noticed that I've raped the tones of the previous capture.. maybe you like these real ones more! :)

P.S. I really recommend to view this in large!

We're in the smoke of the Canadian fires here, upstate NY near Rochester. There's a brownish yellow haze everywhere and the air smells like campfire smoke.

Zoe Bear's birthday is February 16, but today I'm celebrating her re-birthday. It was a year ago today that she was scheduled to be put to sleep because she was in severe kidney failure. I asked the vet for the weekend with her, and Zoe Bear told me she wasn't ready to be put down, and my Miracle Dog recovered! She still has all sorts of ailments and admittedly is getting more frail as she loses more sight and more hearing, but let someone come into the house, and she's all energized as she licks them, with her tail wagging furiously. She'll be coming to the farmers market with me shortly, where she'll get to meet some two- and four-legged friends. Every day since June 28, 2013, has been a gift, and I am grateful for every one of them.

There has been an old cardboard box kicking around the bedroom for several years. I knew it was dolls, but it was so long since I looked that I couldn't remember who was in there....... Tonight I had a look!
I was quite surprised at the variety I had forgotten for so long - there are some pretty girls here.
The Fashion Queen is near mint; Ponytail very good; Sweet 16 very good; Brunette Casey is near mint; Ghana Barbie very good & European standard also very nice.
Some have small problems - Christie has a 'greasy' face; Midge has no hair except her fringe! Julia & Malibu Francie also need re-roots. The platinum Francie needs work on her hair, so does the Quick Curl.
Poor Cara - such a pretty doll - is the worst. I bought her from an ebay seller a few years ago. When I took her from the packet both her arms & one leg fell off! The seller had glued them on & sold her as 'VGC'. Still, she has a lovely face!

What a story I have behind this one! I won't share it all, but I knocked on a total stranger's house. My first words were, "You'll have to excuse the rock. I heard you have a mean dog." Thankfully he knew who I was - something that happens to me a lot and never ceases to leave me perplexed because I don't know a soul around here! The man who answered said that his grandpa drank the wine from each and every one of these bottles, and he (the grandson) built the shack for his kids. I regret not asking him if it makes an eerie sound in the wind if he takes the lids off. I think that question might warrant another visit. =)
I'm not quite sure if this fits the theme, but I feel like a soul-sister when I see X's "trailer trash" wood paneling in the background of his portraits. I think he will approve.
And one more thing - I was really tempted to do a crazy edit, but I admire the creativity behind this building, so I didn't want to taint that. :)
