Regular & Special Colors (this time not Re-Ment)
Megahouse isn't known for secret or special color sets. So when I saw the pink version, haaad to haaave iiit! (scream a la Oprah LOL)
The inflatable tubes are interesting...a version each for boys & girls. The flip-flops are made of rubber. And true to the marked Megahouse craftsmanship, the antiseptic & sun block bottles look so real!
Now if I only know what those small squares are.....

Thunderbird re-positioning passes captured from the deck of Allure of the Seas during the Ft. Lauderdale Airshow. Yup, that's right, even sitting on the deck of a cruise ship I was on the scanner and pointing 600mm worth of excess baggage skyward shooting photos of F-16s!

I had no hesitation about who would be first to model the gold dress in the OD Gift Set. German Baronesses are all very well but when you need full-on glamour only an Italian woman can do it! I have to say I think Natalia agreed with me - she really werked her stuff like a pro! It is so nice to have her in front of my lens after a very long break. Welcome back Natalia - you killed it!

Not the best photo, but thought it would be fun to post the sets side-by-side for comparison. I was gifted a retail display of the new set and put it up by last year's.

Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!
John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love. So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.
If you haven't looked at Orcara Cooking with the Master, I highly recommend that you do. These are just a few of the fantastic items. The scale can be a little off, for example, there is a flour and sugar canister set that is teeny tiny and doesn't fit with most of the other pieces, but most pieces work perfectly with Re-ment.
Look at that picture, the bowl of little butter pats is awesome! There is a Poyrex measuring cup that has a white flour insert. In set #1 you can get the only "wooden" bowl that I can think of, as well as a small bowl of eggs. The clear pitcher and cup on the left are from set #8 are highly underrated (they also have white inserts for the soy milk from the rest of the set). One item I forgot to add is the "wicker" basket from #6, the coffee set; it has a coffee bean insert that can be removed and it also looks great with other items and makes a great addition to any collection. And last but not least, the toaster oven on the right (set #5), this looks great with nothing done to it, but if you paint it, it is awesome!
This is still available, but it seems that Orcara is no longer making miniatures, so don't wait too long. :D
Here is the full set:
When one points out something one does not like, this rubbish dropped on the ground for example, one points three fingers back at oneself. One has to remember the story of the mote and the beam Luke 6:41
