Re-edit Jan 2015
first time ever bringing a tripod to the beach. Nikon D7000. A few things i learned 1. Remember to switch to manual 2. tripod gets full of wet sand. 3. This was much easier than expected. 4. Worrying about the camera and tripod while I wait for the exposure to finish. PS thank you for all the past comments and favs! I will try to get back to everybody this weekend. Explored on Nov 14.

At 52 meters (170 feet) tall, Lisbon's Monument to the Discoveries commemorates the five hundredth anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator, who discovered the Azores, Madeira, and Cape Verde.
An old photo, re-edit, more dodged and burned than before and a slight texture applied.
SB-600 to cam right, softbox.
The We're Here group visited LAST NIGHT'S PARTY! today.
We don't go in for parties. I'm in recovery so being around drunk people is excruciatingly dull for me and Liz is anti social.
Therefore on New Year's Eve we were in bed by 9:30. As with every other December 31st we got awoken at midnight by selfish people detonating explosives. These terrify our pets who then bark hysterically, and so we are then awake most of the night and consequently have a miserable new years day as a result of the tiredness.
This year I made camomile tea at just after 12. It didn't help.

"We're here then" asked Martha as the Doctor started scanning the corridor they were in.
"Yes, Doctor Diablos' long abandoned castle. He left in somewhat of a hurry the last time Professor Champion was here!" answered the Doctor.
At some point we're going to have to rename the common name of "The Butterfly Bush" to something different when all the butterflies are gone!
Yes - when all the butterflies are gone!
Sadly, that won't be long!
We have, in our infinite wisdom of "super human intelligence", poisoned the water, air and soil globally to the extent that a study in German has discovered a loss of 76% of insect species in the last 30 years.
Without insects the food chain collapses. Not just the human food chain - all food chains!
So what will we call Buddleia in the future?
Will Buddleia have a future?
Or will you or I have a future?
This is the most serious event that mankind has ever had to face and we are experiencing it now!
This is REAL - not some fake news story, or what might be or could be. It's already happened!
Our rain water is poisoned, our soil is poisoned!

Austin always liked our larger Tarawa when I built a lil while back. He was super ticked off when I sold it. Over the last month or so he started rebuilding parts of it for himself. :) We have some more figs to use, a few more weapons, etc. A few new CB figs, a BM fig, and some tiles from Victor, and voila!!
Today, the We're Here group visit REMAKE THIS!.
Our task was to recreate any shot we chose from Jack Lawrence photostream.
Thanks to Liz for lending her eyes and Josie for the make up.

This has my favorite bottle of cleaner re-ment has ever made. The chocolate syrup and bear honey are great too!
I was surprised to find that this one was working - it's in the nearby community park and I thought the city would have shut them down. But, nope, water came bubbling out. For We're Here, who are looking for bubblers.
