great great hook up! with Druid,Pipa, steh Raps,Mek, Suez, Qturbo, Ashq and Herz! it was a great day! thnks everybody for showing up!
I thought I'd show you guys some of my re-ments :D I've been collecting them for quite some time. They seem pointless but I cant seem to stop buying them LOL
ps. this is only around 40% of my re-ments.
I'm back from a looong hiatus! ;)
I finally set up my first dolly house last weekend.....Yotsuba's room. (I still don't have B's to take care of, heehee! Y is lower maintenance.....you just change hands & heads, no colors to match, no preppy accessories to worry about.)
Thing is, my fingers keep on hitting stuff and I keep on dropping parts! By sundown, I was all set to take photos, but I've lost my lovely, all natural, daylight. So I have to contend with my OTT light (shameless plug! And thanks to Ms. dorothyalice213's "Dot's OTT" inspiration! I bought it at 50% off btw ;P).
I put together Y's favorite things. Her own collection of mini-dollhouses. She's not an obvious Hello Kitty collector, isn't it? And my oh my, her bag preferences are fabulous but well beyond her age, and means! Girl, how much is your weekly allowance?!!!
The room's her own wonder land. But mommy put a scary reminder by the door to always keep her room tidy. HA!
My dad got them to me safe and sound! I've already unboxed them, and they're gorgeous! Sadly, they didn't come with stands, and their tails don't come out. Other than that, they're great. :D
Kiss me under the mistletoe
Kiss me under the mistletoe,
Hold me tight and don't let go.
kiss me under the mistletoe,
The round green circle with a red bow.
Dance with me by he Christmas tree,
Smiling, laughing, with bright glee,
Be Childish, immature and silly.
And scream like we´re carefree.
Hold me under the Christmas light,
That shines oh so very bright,
An tickle me with pure delight,
On this white Christmas night.
Sing a jolly tune with me
Our voices creating a harmony,
Then we shall fall into tranquility,
A gentle flowing sea.
kiss me under the mistletoe,
Our kisses fierce yet slow,
Hold me under the mistletoe
Forget the past, just let it go.
Regular & Special Colors
The official stock photo (sorry Re-Ment ;P) renders this set a bit boring. But the storage box & the pill box (all covers actually open!) are a pleasant surprise. The baskets are also alright.
The 3-set container thingamajig must be detergent, or deodorizer? LOL I don't know, someone please shed light!
We're here are visiting Still Lives of Small Nice Things.
My favourite small things are Lego. Love all the props that they have these days (much more variety than when I were a lad). It has made the options for scenes for my Adventurer Joe series so much easier. This is just a very small selection of items "procured" from the kids and put in my Joe box :-)
I suppose I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the news (in pre internet days) that East Kent were progressing their fairly long running policy of re-bodying Reliances. The choice of bodybuilder was however more of a surprise, the Dutch firm of Berkhof. Ensign Bus (Dealer) was involved in the preparation work of the chassis and even gave those chassis new numbers in lieu of their former AEC ones. Doing so allowed them to be eligable for new 1984 registrations, plates which post dated AEC's demise by some five years.
The resultant coach looked brand new and stylish in customers eyes, but mechanically it remained something tried and tested. In my later days as an operator, those aspects were things which drew me to 'need' to own one!
I caught up with A197 PPU at the East Sussex seaside town of Hastings in 1988 when it was about four years old ... well, its body was. As far as I'm aware, only one of these now remains.
My two cents to the B.M. (The Big Mess).
Yahoo´s behavior on important issues such as the free speech debate in China and what´s happening here in Flickr right now are very sad stories.
I´m not sure if Yahoo and Flickr are really blocking content due to local legal restrictions (nude content is not forbidden in Germany, for instance) or if they are just taking [bad] management decisions.
Filtering mature content is a parenthood and family issue. The existing filters are already useful for this kind of situation.
Blocking content is not a serious solution. Which is the next country?

We are the users - don't forget that flickr!
Deswegen treten wir gemeinsam in Aktion und zeigen allen, das uns das nicht gefällt was flickr mit uns macht! Füge das Bild zu deinen Favoriten hinzu und poste es!
In English:
If your Yahoo! ID is based in Singapore, Germany, Hong Kong or Korea, you will only be able to view safe content based on your local Terms of Service, and therefore won’t be able to turn off SafeSearch.
In other words, german users can't access photos on flickr that are not flaged "safe" ... only flowers and landscapes for the germans ...
We won't let this happen! Copy and upload this picture to your account - show flickr who we are.
Espanol:
Chale no?
Francais:

There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.
