I've only been here in the summer before, and hadn't seen the reservoir full enough for the water to flow over the dam. You can see there's still some ice on the water behind the tower.
Went Shroomin' today with someone who knows what they're doing and saw some incredible things I've never seen before!
This is an Amanita muscaria, commonly known as fly agaric or fly amanita. Yes, they have psychoactive properties, and yes, they are poisonous.
The 35,000 square feet M&M's World in London's Leicester Square is the largest candy store in the world. Although it feels a lot bigger than the one in New York City, the amount, and variety, of M&M's merchandise seems to be much less than what the store in New York has to offer.
This place is definitely worth a visit though, especially if you're a fan of the M&M's candy or it's characters. I'm a big fan of both!

And they are in the same place. After I left the Americana I crossed the street and photographed this display, as I do every year. I really don't care for such harsh sunlight as my key for subjects like this, but I wasn't sure when I'd be back over there. A little tweaking on Lightroom and Photoshop Express helped reduce the harshness of the original photo. I prefer to get subjects like this at magic hour, or even later. This Samsung phone has a great sensor for low light photography and video.
And you also see my shadow at the lower right, which I don't like to have in there either.

I was going to smash out the lens of a keychain camera but decided to go for a larger camera that would give me the option to mess around with zooming and white balance etc. The LCD screen on this camera is scratched to hell and I have 2 of this model so that's why this camera was chosen for the chop.
These are test shots taken with a piece of tape over the pinhole foil to hold it in place while I checked everything worked before I tightened the screws on the camera - that's why there are all those black bits everywhere from the tape.
Revised version of my Jehuty pic. I originally didn't want to add the glowing lines throughout the figure so I could show off its natural appearance. For this version I added glowing lines and enhanced the flaring wings.
Breadseed poppy
"After midnight" a rare purple to black poppy, by evening the flower was becoming more black.
Today it was battered by strong winds hence the bedraggled look.

Chiesa di Cristo Re - Civitanova Marche, Italia
Chiesa dallo stile moderno, i cui lavorori iniziarono nel 1933 su progetto dell'ingegnere Gustavo Stainer e terminarono solo alla fine degli anni Ottanta, grazie alle donazioni economiche dei pescatori e degli armatori civitanovesi. La chiesa al suo interno presenta una sola navata e delle interessanti vetrate policrome. Ciò che però maggiormente colpisce il visitatore, è sicuramente l'imponente campanile progettato dall'architetto romano Dante Tassotti, concepito come una torre a base circolare alta ben 33 metri e terminante con una cuspide a forma di cono. Esso è visitabile grazie ad un comodo ascensore, in alternativa ad una rampa di 285 scalini. Il campanile esercita anche la funzione di faro comunicando nel linguaggio Morse le lettere "C" e "M", iniziali di Civitanova Marche.

This gentleman was part of a group who were re enacting a detachment of the WW2 LDV (Local Defence Volunteers) later renamed the Home Guard. The LDV was often said to mean "Look Duck and Vanish"
