This is one of them.
Raw, macro 60mm a 2.8, 2 strobe with radio control.

Headed out to the arboretum for the first time in a long time. The sky was completely clear, the sun was out, the fall colour almost gone... not overly conducive to fall photography. But I figured I'd take the macro lens and see what I could find at the... macro level.
I found a few decent frames, in this image the bright sun helped alot to illuminate the leaves, though the wind was quite a pain! These leaves glowed so bright I needed to severly underexpose the shot to get the red channel within limits!
After speaking to someone who is more of an expert on insects it's either Dolichopus popularis or Poecilobothrus nobilitatus ( female ) probably my favourite fly to photograph , i just love the colours something you just don't notice with the naked eye .
