I went to a raw vegan potluck! I ate a lot of delicious food and met a lot of wonderful people!
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the meal foods, but here are some of the desserts!
Why veganism:
Raw chocolate hearts, made from raw vegan ingredients such as walnut milk, coconuts and ground cocoa beans. (File: RPOP-2009-05-1020)

This is for Fro Knows Photo (check out his website www.froknowsphoto.com). In thes shot I edited it in LR boosted the colors selectively and contrasts. Then I edited it in Color efex pro, used the preset tonal contrast first and then ran it through again using galour glow. Gives it a nice almost HDR effect.
A very cold winter's day after the fields have been stripped bare. You see the lines, get the shot, and retreat to your fireside.

I do not have that much information about Rawal Dam. Even my travel guide book ,Lonely Planet did not mention anything about Rawal Dam. Anyway, I am sure Rawal dam produces water for Rawalpindi and Islamabad but I did notice that the dam is not very big compared to places like Mangla or Tarbela Dam. It is also being commercialized as a get away place for people in Islamabad during weekends. Around Rawal Dam there is a chain restaurant, view deck, a play ground for children ( with camel and horse back riding), few small shops for refreshment. Parking is very limited especially on weekends.
The Atlantis is another defining moment for me- one of my suuuuper early gun drawings. I've never made it before because it never quite seemed to fit into any of my other styles. It's a railgun... a little advanced for Sweetwater.
This concept was designed for PMG, specifically. It was conceived in this form in order to be made in this program. Even the shape of the gun is dictated by the unique PMG-ness of the pieces that built it. Nothing user-made, save some careful blending. With this series, less is going to be more, I think....
I will keep all the guns in this series simple enough that they can be easily modified, and will provide PASTEBINs for all of them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The RAW series is an experiment in shape and form. The concepts in this series are unpolished, with focus on parts use and development as opposed to color and finish. Using only basic techniques, the goal is to develop aesthetically pleasing prototypes- based on shape and design alone.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So this is an experiment, and a challenge. Don't like something about this gun? I WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU WOULD CHANGE! There's the code- tinker with it until you think it's perfect, then post yours here.
I can't believe I have stooped to this so early. I, obviously, had trouble with this weeks ring so,...I smashed it to smithereens with a sledge hammer. I smashed it so hard it was too hot to touch. It felt good. There was gold on it too but that bit flew off and is lost forever in my studio.
I always am excited when models contact me to do a shoot. In this case, Juelles, a very experienced agnecy model from D.C got in touch with me, while she was vacationing in Hawaii. We had a blast during a beach shoot...stay tuned for more!

Raw emotions.
Weddings are mostly happy occasions with the emotional moments…
As parents, you remember… wonder where time has gone…
For the parents it means the end of an era, even if the son or daughter have been living on their own for a while…
For the young people it is a new beginning…
Is this the baby I once held, is this the boy who’s wounds I so often ‘patched up’, is this the girl I consoled after here first love ache?
So many memories get funneled through that day…
For many couples, like this couple in the image, during the speech of the father of the bride, his wife grabbed his hand, knowing how nervous he was.
This image says:
It is a "yessss", we did it, look proudly on the young couple, they are happy and we’ve made it, still together, I need to squeeze your hand, I know you’re nervous, the words, so well rehearsed, so difficult to remember now, your voice trembles slightly, don’t worry, I’m the only one who hears it, and I’m here, by your side.
I wish you all a very happy day and thanx for looking at my images and the feedback, Magda, (*_*)
PS: when I asked the lady for permission and sent her the text, this was her reply:
"I was so proud of my terribly quiet and shy Berty. It took such courage for him to stand in that huge place and make that speech. For me it was one of those lifelong moments full of pride and ...well everything that goes along with love.
This is a capture that most other wedding photographers would have missed....no other words to say but a simple and sincere "I thank you."
China 2006: Day 6: Xi'An: For lunch we had Hotpot, which was another rare meal that was enjoyable. We each got a light broth that was simmering in our individual pot, lit by a candle at the bottom. Into this pot we could place very thinly sliced raw meat (pork, beef, or lamb), and a variety of vegetables and noodles. The meat would cook very quickly and could be scooped out using chopsticks and dipped into a spicy sauce. The sauce could also be added into the broth and simmered, until the soup was ready to eat itself. I guess this is like the Vietnamese Pho soup.
This battle happens in between the scene in episode 16 where obi-one and Anakin are returning a from fighting Ventress and where they talk to Slick and tell him to go to lockup. This is the first wave, so when Anakin says "there back" and that he shouldn't`t have sent the ship back for reinforcements. At the moment they have only savaged one heavy cannon and not the four that you see in the second wave of the attack on the movie. Look at the other pictures of this Moc to see more detail.
