Young orangutan at the rehabilitation centre at Rasa Ria near Kota Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo. There are two viewings per day with the viewing area a short walk from the Shangri-la resort.
Eventually, we found an Indian Restaurant. Bell has a thing for Indian food, and she insists that, "If you want the best Indian food, you have to go to London." Raja serves southern Indian cuisine, which means that I was hiccuping and gulping water all through the meal.
Our hotel for the two nights we spent in Jaipur. Like all the hotels we stayed in, it was very nice, the rooms each being completely separate buildings. They were supposed to resemble tents, each being lined with canvas. We were told this was because the hotel had been built in a conversation area, where no permanent buildings were allowed. An awful lot of temporary concrete had also been used!! The food, as it was everywhere we went in Rajasthan, was superb.
